Great video. What I needed to see was how bad the new MDF obstruction is from the pilot seat whilst flying. I imagine it is pretty bad for a ship that use to offer amazing view whilst flying. I am not a fan of the new displays but guess I can take the hit re all the other glory this ship has on display. Shame about the lack of quantum fuel and speed. I will get it all the same. At least I will have it on buy back if I keep getting smashed re the new master modes as has been the case trying to escape with shields down when attempting to escape.

I love and hate how refreshing it is that you are reviewing the real ship as it is in game right now rather than reviewing your hopes and dreams for the ship like everyone else does. Keep it up.

This also leaves room to re-review the ships if they get updates.

@EvenLease44 you can use the "remote" turrets. you didn't look all the way to your left. its not on the panel but the bug is the turrets "spin"

They really need to hire some architects. Deckplan looks like it was made by children.

I didn't know CIG brought the 600i's handling down even further from what it was before.

The new MFDs really did this ship dirty.

I love Origin, I have one of most of their ships, My 400i is my daily driver, but my 600i is my flagship, and has been for years. Like most 600i captains, I was excited by the announcement of the rework, but I've been a backer since the Kickstarter, so I never expect to have something until it's in the 'verse.

Those are escape pods not suit lockers.

Flew it the last free fly event and just loved the luxury Origin interior. But i think it had the better p/y/r stats back then bc it flew somewhat acceptable and for me was just a tiny bit behind the Connie. But wirh this sht stats it looks like i'm upgrading my Taurus to a Phoenix instead of this broken and left behind corpse we have atm🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes, the low quantum fuel levels make NO sense. Hopefully they fix this. ALSO, regarding the turrets, the 600i Turret seats were working in 3.24.2, but now in 3.24.3, not working.

I look forward to when it gets the rework. It's one of my favourite ships for sure...well, the outside.

600i is really a beautyfull ship. I totally understand it's popularity. But I have never set foot inside of one. And I don't understand why people are calling for a rework of it.

the Reclaimer deserves a rework WAY before the 600i.

None of those graphical glitches were there last time I tried the ship, but the open floor is a design flaw.

The half wall by the kitchen is to separate the mess table from the stairs and TV seats, makes sense both practically and esthetically.

The internal cargo plates are very useful for provisions, this isn't a trading or freight ship...

Still love my 600i, but it really does need rework soon as its really frustrating glitching in and out of it at times.

600i used to be decent heavy fighter sort of for pve bounties. Now its just a old worn out taxi for me.

I can't get over watching A1 and a buddy spend 20m shooting one of these down and there was literally nothing it could do. That DPS is fake vs small fighters.

Gorgeous ship on the outside. Odd decisions on the inside, both design and layout.

I've got the touring variant. The captain's bathroom door works. you're right about the ton of bugs and the worst part of my variant is the amount of noise (engine noise) you hear when you step into the middle area (where your variant has cargo lift). They need to give this ship some love!

The fake luxury looks nice, but it's only for hardcore RPers. Origin ships should be brimming with automation and QOL features. They should cost more, but soloing a 600 should be easy.

I have the ship and waiting for the rework to see if I keep it or not.

I wonder how my 600i will stack up in 4.0. It better also get PDCs if the Connies are getting them. I do love the Connies, but they are partially unfinished inside. We had a port-a-potty for like 5 years. I heard the table works now though! 7 more years to an actual bathroom. lol
Also the Connies now got 4xS5 guns, and the 600i still has 3. I feel like the 600i should be much stronger tbh.

This ship and all the luxury ships, need a subset of missions called transport or space Uber or something where you get paid to taxi npcs around the verse, VIPs could have specific ship requirements for higher payout. Kinda like elite dangerous did

You can access the remote turrets, but the access button is way off the terminal screen, so look for the button on the side, outside of it (usually left)

$475 is criminal, this isnt about "funding the game".


Edit Its still criminal, but I thought the scale was like an intrepid or titan lol. It looks beautiful for real but come on with these damn prices!

Love this ship, but skipping til its fixed

Last update ( some enticing photos to get us all excited) of the 600i was in 2022 and zero updates since. Next worry is if the CIG ships team(s) are full of inexperienced ( and maybe not very good) devs and the decent ones i.e. the ones which were working on thee BMM are long gone. I mean the back of the 600i is badly designed and thrown together so anything is an improvement but the recent Intrepid and the not yet finished but released Polaris are not good omens.

You should be able to use the turrets, the buttons are just off the side of the screens.

I love the 600i, and im looking forward to the med bay that there supposed to add.

Thanks for forestalling disappointment, it seems I’ve left that ship in the corner for so much of its life, all that time back from Levski with vehicles falling through the floor, it seems like years before that was fixed and I took joy in it again. Now indeed falling apart, though I’ll try a trick I saw for the Starlancer dismounting turret weapons enabling more power to main weps, especially now they’re gimballed 5s
I don’t want to think about the rework because I don’t think it will be soon, so potentially a love, but again to think is to sigh.

I remember watching your previous review of this ship like 10 times because I had the idea to buy it. Absolutely LOVE the concept of this ship and the views it provides. However, seeing that it is in such bad shape right now, really disappoints me. I would love to purchase the ship (when the rework comes), but it might be a bit out of my budget. Fantastic review asa always! I don’t mind at all that it was over 10 mins, great, short run-through of the ship.

I see origin ships as luxury dildos in space.

I love Origin so much, but they are always a buggy mess since months/years.
CIG doesnt care about the 400i and 600i.
So much people would pledge for them... I dont get it

I love this ship because it looks like what I imagined most of the spaceships to look like when I was a kid.

Origin is in my top 3 in terms of design, but they really really really get some attention, the 300 series, the 400i, the 600, they all need an update

In WW2 the world had BMW and rolls-Royce engines in fighter planes, an Origin 600i tactical would be nice.

I love the 600i still even with CIG constantly nerfing it and not showing it any love.

I used to love this ship before the arrival of master mode, but now I am not sure if I want to stay as is, or just go ahead and CCU up to the Perseus

Realy love the origin ships, most of them are allrounders (can do a little of everything). But the 2 middle ships (400i and 600i) just need a rework, or a goldpass. Because the 400i is now just a flying luxery motorhome

As a 600i owner, I'm highly to say that the ship in it's current form doesn't deserve anything higher than a 3/10.

The ship has the worst handling of anything it's size and the rework, which i believe was being led by Paul Jones, isn't going to happen any time soon. CIG already have backers money, they done feel like they need to fix it.

Upgraded my Lti from santok yai to this. Still stoked it will be awesome when reworked.

Please CIG give this ship the rework you guys promised us. Instead of selling new ships by the dozen...
