1st story…”my dad calls me a whore…my mom calls me a whore”….. seems like the shoe fits. This girl deserves absolutely nothing from her traumatized parents! She is a liar and sick excuse of a human being.

Dr. Phil was mean and out of line with the lady that had the lying husband. I've never seen him like that. He crossed a line.

I do hate when he shows the manipulators HOW he’s able to tell when they’re lying and manipulating because it makes them better at it. It shows then how to hide it better in the future. He needs to show her those things individually without him there so she knows what to look for and he has no clue how to change his demeanor to get her to believe him again.

I think the second one, the woman looks so blank because she’s finally realizing she’s done and that’s a very serious and traumatizing situation and feeling to be in. I hate this for her.

Please, don't ever call yourself a victim! These women are not victims. They are survivors!

Here's what I see. I see her doing and saying things with the kids and also when the kids are not around. I believe in her mind she see nothing wrong in what she says or does. But when it's all played back to her, she feels the need to justify or explain her way through it because now doubt has flared up. I believe she's scared to own her wrongs and learn from them. I believe she thinks everyone is out there, as their mission to take her kids away from her or turn them against her. Bottom line, the way she's handled things in regards to her kids, even though she did it with good intentions, it was not the best way to handle those situations. Honestly I think both parents need help in co-parenting and learn appreciate communication when it comes to talking to their daughter about situations. Having that conversation with the girls over the lie detector test from either parent, I'm not so sure that should of even taken place. The dad maybe sitting on the high ground because he's past the test, bur his deminor tells me his more about pointing fingers than learning how to build a co-parentung situations that healthy for all involved. That's how I see it. I just wish she'd shut up, listen, self reflect, own her mistakes, and ask how she can parent better. It's not a shameful thing to admit as a parent you screwed up, as long as your welling to learn from your wrong doings, and learn to do better in the future. I don't think there's a parent out there that hasn't made mistakes.

Dr phil acquires this info from the behaviour panelist agents, it's good stuff, they have a utube channel called just that and they r a panel of 4 professionals that analyses felons body behaviour .

Oh Dr Phil you always right but you have never experienced these things that parents go through. At the time it’s the right thing to do. People haven’t got perfect children like you have.

Many families don't go through something like this, but there are others that do, my 2 brothers' where kind of like these girls, one would get into things with our day, the other with our mom, the one finally did move out to go live with his one good friend & his family

The first story, the parents are oblivious to their own failings. They unintentionally made the situation worse, not better. The parents refuse to accept responsibility for the consequences of their choices. The daughter is no saint. She needs to take accountability for her life. The only innocent ppl in that first story are the younger brother n sister.

How is it in the last story that the mother still has custody of the child after her parents literally set up a kill room and shot her ex in the back of the head? She should be in jail with them there's no way in hell she didn't know what they were doing! That child is in danger get that baby away from that freak! That's why she wouldn't come on the show she didn't want nobody hitting her with a lot of questions or asking her to take a lie detector test that she knows she couldn't pass! I still don't understand how she has custody of their son after her parents literally just tried to kill him. It makes no sense. People get their kids taken away for a whole lot less...

She is 18 years old. They need to put their safety and the safety of their other children first and put her butt out if she doesn’t want to get help. They are causing a chaotic and dangerous living environment for their other children. Let the baby’s daddy take her in and deal with her since she wants to be an adult and have a baby.

I was over a friends house after work and some detectives came there and a cop for something they were investigating about her boyfriend. The one cop was asking me personal questions. I blew him off best I could. He came back the next day n I told my friend not to let him in n she said “he already came in “. He was sitting in the couch talking twas sooo akward. Got him to leave since we were leaving for work. He came back again acouple days later n I had my friend tell him that I moved to Flordia. Next thing I know when I went back to my parents house he had been there and left his number. So he looked up my name n got my address. Disgusting and so scary. Thankfully it ended there. Had my dad say I was moving out of state.

Both of their neurosis complement each other perfectly and year in year out it continues until someone or God forbid something wakes them up.

I really hope the girl from the first episode is doing well. She was kind of an asshole, but so were her family - doesn't mean there's nothing worth fighting for. I'm sure she did do horrible things but her family do appear a little sanctimonious so after being judged a handful of times, I'm not shocked a neurodivertgent teen would just give up and rebel. Also, the dad's take on bisexuality is awful. As a bisexual woman it was hard enough accepting myself in my teens and my parents supported me.

Dr phil sometimes people are so hurt the become numb dont be so cruel you bully.
