TJ Watt is only playing 1 half of a game these days. His game will probably not age well. Myles Garrett’s game is a power game like Cam’s and will probably age better than TJ’s going forward in their careers. As a whole Cam, Minkah, Ogunjobi, and TJ really did not show up last night. JPJ was not effective covering Jeudy and poor discipline with containment on the edge by the Steeler edge rushers. Offensively, so many issues to include substandard play calling, I will not even comment any further.

They kept Fields in a series because it was snowing and the steelers desperately wanted to run the ball in this game. Najee was getting less than 3yds per carry

I agree with the commenter in the chat room that Minkah looked slow. I am wondering, after his knee injury from last season, is Minkah still suffering some after effects from that knee injury.

I disagree with Dave about the short week, the Steelers’ head coach is just unprepared compared to his counterparts and his decision making left a whole lot to be desired. Better play calling and head coaching decisions and we are probably talking about a win on the road on a short week.

To Jeff’s comment about the counterpunch for TJ; the counterpunch has been injured most of the season in Alex Highsmith and Keanu Benton has not stepped up to be the pass rusher that they envisioned to begin the season.

one comment in the favor of the defense; in that type of field last night the offense has the advantage because they know where they are going and the footing slows the defense down. However, the Steelers offense did not take advantage of their perceived advantage due to the field conditions. On to Cincinnati!

This offense lacks continuity. There have been very few, if any, games where the offense looks cohesive. There are still plays where you have to question the personnel on the field. And, it feels like they are forcing getting Fields involved in a meaningful way. It will be difficult to fix these things given the schedule moving forward.

I guarantee you the Steelers did not take Cleveland likely. Thursday night games suck

I agree with you. Dave, the Thursday night game is a money grab. There should be no reason they don't give these guys proper rest between games.

Defense should be embarrassed. Clowns playing backups . 1sack and every time they lined up on short yardage you know they were going to get it.

Teams are going to keep using two to three people to stop TJ until the rest of the defense can start getting sacks consistently. And for god sakes start moving TJ around more often.

How is R W in question when this all around offensive line performance was horrific
