Hello again. I have always used soft yellow tones on north facing rooms. You are correct it brightens the glum, especially in winter on cloudy days.

Each episode gets so much better and better! I love how you include your beautiful children in the creation of each space, those memories being made are so precious as well as teaching basic skills that will become so valuable throughout their life 🫶
That yellow is so perfect, I simply adore how the more intense colour showcases the detail in the window frame making a wonderful frame for the view outside. The painting is perfect also and can imagine a chair and maybe some cushions in that blue of the picture bringing all the colours together.
Thank you for the laugh I got seeing how you wrapped that present…it reminded me so much of how my brother and I have fun finding totally creative (inappropriate) ways to gift wrap our presents to each other.
This has become more and more hilarious as the years go by, so much so that my own two grown sons have adopted the tradition for their own making gift giving a hilarious adventure more anticipated for the hilarity and fun than the gifts themselves!

You are amazing how you do all of that work in your beautiful dress and don't appear to get any paint on it.....amazing! Your vlogs are so interesting and love all of the DIY's. I just love your Winnie the Poo yellow. l laughed as l am still trying different yellows on a large dresser! l’ve painted the 6 doors different yellows, so now l am ready to decide! You were right when you said the colour changes in different light!
It’s night here in Melbourne and all the. cupboards looks the same! l think l will shut my eyes and choose…… l think l like your yellow best, but live too far away to buy it.😅😅😅

I like the "winnie the pooh" yellow! I loved the trip to the hardware store, be the type of thing my husband and I might do last minute. Your home is gorgeous. You are both so lucky to have come across such a home to invest your time, attention, love and endless funds (lol) in :) We do not really have things like this in Australia. I am glad that I was watching Anna and Phillip the day that they stopped at your place. I have become a fan.

It never ceases to amaze me how different colours look in-situ vs in the can or on a sample. I'm very excited to see how the room will look with the ceiling painted, too!
