Is that a stylus for logic?

Well, I dunno how this is a Logic trick as stated in the title? Sounds nice though. Although is it true to the instrument and how it's perceived in its natural habitat? What does it sound like on something you really know like a grand piano? But yet again, in a more synthetic and sound design heavy environment it's a good trick.

Hi Mattias, thanks for the tip. Curious why you didn't just transpose the midi notes themselves either through the region inspector transpose option (or selecting all notes and holding shift and option and either up or down arrow to shift the notes by an octave). Is it simply because you like the granular effect that plugin seems to imbue? Another quick tip: You can duplicate the track and the midi/audio at the same time by selecting the track to duplicate in the channel strip (to the left of the midi or audio clip) and holding option while dragging up or down. Cheers!

Yes, this sounds different than just pitching the midi notes up or down. This effect breaks apart the sound in a nice way and gives a slightly different character. That's why it works soooo good when layering with the original track. Yes, you can also use it on the same track and use the Effect Blend to control the Mix balance between original and effected (pitched) sound. I put it on a separate track because I probably only want to have reverbs and effects on the first "top" layer. 🌞
Highly recommend tip if you want to fatten up your lead melody instrument without bloating your arrangement.
