These are being used on busy city streets. Suicide scooters.

Why not review the Xiaomi m365 Pro 2019 model? It has a much larger battery capacity (12800mah vs 7800mah), 45km range, more motor power (300 watts vs 250 watts) peak 600 w (can go up to 1000 watts), slightly larger dimension, and LCD screen as well.

you should review the one wheel. is the one I'm looking at for me... these scooters are too unwieldy for me... the one wheel can go in a backpack easy.

That is pretty much a Xiaomi. The differences are unimpressive.

Try out the boosted boards and the rev scooter too :)

You should review the Swagtron eb7 ebike. It looks like a solid bike for $600.

Well, seeing as you live in the suburbs, probably, you have nothing to really truly compare this too. Bird has been using this same design for a while now and it's as comparable. They are pretty good. IMO

Wow, there are a lot of rebranded Xiaomi scooters, Macwheel, Hover-1 Journey, and the swagtron swagger 5. Don’t know how many scooters you have, but I think an excellent review would be between the xiaomi vs it’s rebranded siblings.

Man i am so confused.... can someone tell me whats the best scooters to buy for $300-400? I need one for commuting but its really hard to find one that people generally agree is a good buy

You don't specify the model number. The MX1 definitely has a 350 watt motor. Almost every Verified Amazon purchased review gives very high ratings to this thing and virtually every reviewer of the Xiamoi noted how maddening it is to try and change a flat tire - assuming one can even get the proper replacement tube. That was a deal breaker for me (and I've ridden 40,000+ miles on bicycles and have become very proficient at changing bicycle flats) and the solid wheels on the Macwheel, even without suspension and no doubt a bit of a rough ride, sold me. Mine will be delivered in five days so I will update my comments here if applicable after some firsthand usage. I do wish it had an app - esp to lock it. Apparently that may be coming soon as an update.

My man, you should review the Macwheel **MX3**. It has front & real suspension!

One thing you did not point out or maybe I missed the range of the scooter? Everyone needs to be aware that the range test on the scooter is at best 6 miles maybe 7 miles and I weigh a hundred and forty pounds the advertised range of 18.6 MI is true if you travel on the scooter at speed one which is 5 miles per hour which most of us can walk faster just food for thought
