Heart broken after finishing Phantom Liberty, but in a good way even though it feels bad. Very strong ending, depending on the choises you make and it doesnt happen often that i get hit hard by emotions from a story. Definitely well done and the gameplay changes in 2.0 made playing the game so much more enjoyable.
If you still have a bad taste after the messy release of Cyberpunk 2077 then get it out of your system already and start playing the damn game, its more then worth it now

Awesome as always! Can’t wait to experience this. I’ll be continuing my playthrough of the main game finally now. So ready to experience what the game could’ve been at the start. The improvements look great. I’m maybe 40 hours in as of like a year ago and decided to wait out the updates before continuing.

Not a big fan of the main characters in this DLC if I’m being honest, they seem a bit bland. Forgettable. The side characters are pretty hilarious though, some of the gigs and side quest are hilarious. They really upped the quality of the side content.

the dlc sounds great, augmented systems that support the game, augmented choices to support the story... 12 hours of story added.. but $30??? I just cant get around them asking for halfprice the original games price to add on 12-15 hours and 10 levels of an otherwise already hundreds of hours long game... heart of stone and blood and wine together cost that much and both of them are free now.. Ill just play 2.0 and wait for the dlc to get added for free later

I don't know.. in my opinion the whole expansion is one of the best, right at the top with Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine

I liked the original game, but now it's finally a masterpiece. Are there still some issues? Of course. But overall, the game is just insanely good. I'm having a blast.

I'd be more interested if the expansion wasn't as overpriced. Whenever it goes on sale I'll consider getting it.

Dude your approach should be the model who anyone wanting to write a genuinely useful review about any consumer product. No arbitrary ratings or rantings or whatever emotions the product arouses within you.

You just: thoroughly demonstrate what the game is like to play/product is like to use with extensive examples so consumers can get a good idea of whether or not it is right for them.

Would who have thought?! The whole space is full of people trying soooo hard to have personalities, forgetting that everyone already has a personality and it's better to just be yourself and get to work. Excellent shit as always my man.

nb. also "wander in wisdom" is a great sign off that's some straight 3rd edition Elminster pimp shit

I know it's Cyberpunk, all dark and mean, but I wish there was just one positive Witcher like ending with the whole gang....
'Legends of V: The one who got away.' Or something, where you fake your death...maybe a dlc called 'Lucky Choombah!' CDPR??

wish I could play it but the game damages any save phantom liberty does for me on ps5. I had to uninstall phantom liberty and download a cloud save just to load 2.0. there's a bunch of people with this issue and I don't see anyone talking about it.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

I absolutely HATED the tonal shift into "horror" towards the end of this DLC. I was really feeling the dlc until this point which ruined the entire experience for me because of how forced it felt. The entire game you're fighting all these imposing robots and then out of nowhere this one shows up and there's nothing I can do to it? As I said, this ruined the entire experience

How is the sense of urgency in this dlc? It triggers right after an early mission in act 2, but it is heavily implied you should do a bunch of stuff before it since it has some leads to the end of the campaign.

I have done the judy / panam / river missions and havent visited the voodoo boys just yet, but I can only develop my relationship with johnny, rogue and kerry in act 3, which means I will be prompted to start phantom liberty before I even start those "loyalty missions". This means there must (or should) be a point during the dlc where entering and leaving dogtown is more relaxed from a narrative standpoint.

It kinda sucks that cyberpunk puts a heavy narrative emphasis on doing the main missions as quickly as possible, which is something I also dislike in games such elder scrolls 4 and 5 and fallout 4.

I would love it if CDRP added a mode that lets the player just wander around NC, w/out any story missions or narrative to follow. Start as a low-level street ganger, and work your way up the ranks, take over other gangs territory, etc. I mean you can basically Role-play this right now, but it still feels really immersion breaking for me, when my V in all of her cutscenes is a pretty stand-up person that's always trying to help those in need. But when I'm in control, I'm playing as a slightly out of control merc, so their's a kind of disconnect there.

Funny story about the 'open world nature', I heard through most of it's design and creation that's exactly what it was, 'just' an open world game set in the CP universe. (Which was first created as CP 2020 back in the late 80s as a pen and paper game.) It apparently wasn't until pretty late in development that Johnny Silverhand and the 'possession' questline took over how the game would run and Keanu Reeves was brought on board. That might be why a lot of the earlier advertising was focused on the open world nature and not Johnny.

I really wonder if CP 2077 2, which apparently they are working on, is just going to follow that original open world game vision. (Though unless they get a 2nd team to work on it I'd think that's a very long ways off what with them already stating they are doing the next Witcher before anything else.)

I have been enjoying the combat overhaul so much that I have just been leveling on gangers and ncpd calls. I reached 50 sc while my character level is 30 lol. The combat is so much fun now. It feels like its easy when you make good decisions and really hard when you fuck up. Its great on very hard.
