The BEST Solo Base Building Map Locations in DayZ

First here!

Im currently based in a high rise apartment building but in need of a garage. Seems like a good place as apartments are not known for having loot so get very low traffic. The door to the roof you can add barbwire when you log out. When someone comes up the ladder they are pushed into the wire and injured and possible killed as it's hard to get out of it and back down the stairs. Plus with locked gate you can't stsnd there and work the lock from the outside without getting cuts.

I highly advise not building around large rock formations, I always use them as a vantage point for scouting before advancing. I can guarantee other people will too.

I am as mainly raider side, followers please dont use 3 digit lock, and only single door base.

West side of the map is not safe for stashes or bases. Players that know, always look up and down that side of the map. People always base and stash out there.

i build my base in sheed , now now how to build flag . do i need flag near to my base location ?

I may be wrong, but it seems for me, that deerstands deep in the woods may be unusual places to have a solo base, that doesn't rely on cover, rather being hidden as noone would be specifically looking for them and access can be secured with enough supplies to be carried by one man (1 watchtower and maybe couple of fences to build).

There’s a few spots if have in the past that have very rarely been raided and 1 I’ve built in twice than never got raided. Very small but actual base building was used in all of them

I always build in either random apartment buildings at the very top floors or that ladder room in the large industrial building. No one ever checks these but water stashes are still the safest way of hiding loot

North of zaprudnoe there is a few farm buildings that you can make into a giant compound that is hard to raid

As I said at the start, this video was incredibly difficult to make because I don’t want to out anyone’s base, or ruin exact locations for others. So I’ve tried as much as possible to not say exactly where, but provide enough information for you to figure out where about.

However, if you do feel as though a more direct video showing exact locations/buildings/town names and so on would be more useful to you, let me know in the comments because I can absolutely do that.
