glad I came across this in my feed today. Couple things I take away from this is the intentionality of journaling, rather than just a way to regurgitate the day, as you use it as a gratitude journal and for manifestation. The tie in you made between spelling and spell casting was eye opening as I had not thought about the act of writing as a way of spell casting. I laughed when you mentioned disparaging the 5AC folk. Getting up at that time has been a game changer not only for the ability to commune with spirit/inner master, but to get my mindset straight for the day. Just fell upon this video. I never heard of you David but I found this episode very helpful. I am a prayerful , meditating (Dr Joe), gratitude centered 67yr old Greek gal who has never journaled. Never appealed to me and always felt like too much work/time m. But after listening I decided to commit to journaling daily at least until the end of the year. Wish me luck. Oh and btw I just ordered your book🙏

Very young into my journey of unlocking all of this higher awareness - but I've felt so much of what you describe for so long in my personal life. Especially the feeling of "praying into the void" So thank you!! I'm going to do this method.
Also - funny - I'm sitting on the side of a volcano in Costa Rica right now - trying to figure out how to move on towards a legacy that is calling me but seems out of reach. So seeing the hat made me feel like there was some synchronicity here. I'm not overlooking that. By the way - just finishing all of my commercial pilot training - so if you need someone to fly that plane when it happens - I know a guy. Pura Vida!

I started a journal for my granddaughter when she was born (she’s almost six) to document milestones and funny memories. It dawned on me recently that she won’t be able to read the handwritten journal because it’s in cursive. So now I’m documenting everything going forward in Word to print out later and keep in a binder. I feel a little sad that the entire journal will not be in my handwriting.

I use writing when I feel like I’m losing grasp on what I want, what my goals are. What and where I want to be. Writing it out really helps me organize my thoughts and recenter. I also sometimes go back and reread those statements to remind myself what I desire and what my ultimate goals are ❤
