The main vilain of the story is the most iconic of all.

I forgot how dark and adult themed they were in these games. It was kind of cool the games didn’t treat you like a child.

Chrono Trigger is my favorite game (it came out when I was 12) but this game opened my eyes to what Video games could theoretically do. It is arguably the most influential game of all time, even if it isn’t regarded as one of the best by most. I regard it as a top 5 game for sure.

I rented this game back in the day and the thing that sucked 11 year old me in was the sidekicks at the beginning clearly being named after Luke Slywalker’s wingmen in Star Wars. That’s knowing your audience as a translator. It’s funny how translators of the 1990’s were so clearly into “nerd culture” I recognized SOTN for having directly used so many names of things and people from the Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien, the book hardcore Tolkien fans knew of.

Love how the first 9 minutes of this video is just the prologue, before the events of the game even commence. So many sub plots and well thought out background stories to this game, which make it fully worth taking the time to explore both “worlds”….

I also love this game, possibly more than any other game ever. I think one of the reasons why this game is so revered, despite it being pretty old and tedious by today's standards, is because the story is clearly allegorical. I think anyone who grew up with this game probably has it deeply embedded into their subconscious at the very least. Also the music and imagery and everything else help. Just a masterpiece. I know that it's not super likely, or definitely won't happen soon that remake for this comes out. I wonder if square or enix or whoever runs things now would be able to make a compromise and make this into a long form film. Or perhaps even a miniseries... That would be super cool in my opinion.

I love FF6 so much that I started asking AI to make music about it. Terra has depth like no other video game character.

The best part was that Terra learned love when she became a mother to the children of Mobliz.

The pacing of this game is all over the place what a mess compared to ff7.

It’s a good game but it’s the most overrated story of any final fantasy. It needs an actual ending.

There should have been at least a flashback scene of Kefka's experiment gone wrong or who he was prior. He unfortunately has very little backstory.
