Amarys and Lacey kicked my ass, even after i prepared teams for them…

My fight with Crispin was the most enjoyable battle I’ve had in a while, he took down both my hard counters on the first turn but thanks to my Altaria bulking up with Cotton Guard and tanking most hits, I slowly chipped him down until I beat his Blaziken with my Decidueye in a battle of the starters…LOADS of fun

I could never take the dragon trainer with toothpaste hair seriously, I’m surprised he even focuses on dragons considering they are hard to catch and raise, something a lazy trainer wouldn’t want to do

Drayton is my favorite character at the school. Then Amarys.

Raving out Amarys absolutely decimating my team for the 7th time 🔥🔥

I spent so many revives on drayton, spamming tailwind prankster whimsicott and icicle crash sandslash

I tried to bring in alcremie but I really didn’t need it

I really expected the Unova Elite Four theme to play, but this is still really good, brings out how intense this Elite Four is despite being just a bunch of kids

I'm so late to this and likely not the first but it took me so long to realise that around the 54 seconds mark, it's very subtly the cold storage theme from pkmn black and white

I did drayton and amarys first so they weren't a challenge, but oh my god crisipin and Lacey were so hard (probably bc I had so many fire and fairy types myself)

Concord should take note on how to make likeable characters.

Just like I did in The Teal Mask, I decided to use a totally different team in Indigo Disk, made up of Pokémon that came in this second part of the DLC. My main team was already lvl 100, and I wanted a challenge. My new team was around LVL 85, and it was the best decision I made. The elite four fights were very challenging, it's the first time I saw Game Freak really use strategies with its challenges, I felt like I was playing VGC.

I like how we assumed drayton was gonna be apart of a villain arc

Strong and fun good job gamefreak dlc could of been longer but oh well

I like to believe that this Elite 4, being that they're school kids, embody a feeling of 'the next generation' with their new style of battling (i.e. doubles in an E4). They really do be 'breaking the mold'

Yeah this was definitely challenging since i choose not to use revives 😅

The Lady’s (Steel and Fairy) had a pretty decent challenge and I’m a competitive 6v6 singles player. I could absolutely see this elite 4 being a huge challenge if I didn’t have that experience and understanding of stats.

Crispin and Drayton are peak characters

i can't even lie, i was ev training and i hunted for the proper natures of the mons i used and even hyper trained a few and still this league gave me a rough time, although it was mainly the surprise and type coverages that i had, but their held items were crazy and i loved the difficulty

I have to imagine the reason that they have such high levels, is because there's no Pokemon league to regulate them.

And the fact that it's an academy for battling, doesn't hurt.

walked into this dlc with level 100s fully expecting to wipe, was so excited when i was forced to make a full new team with synergy against Drayton

Ok, but what about us, we're just teens casually saving the world.

The first impression I got of this DLC being hard was that Slaking with Hyper Beam and Galarian Slowpoke with Thunder Wave in the Coastal Area.
Then I get to the Elite 4. Pretty much all of them were destroying my nearly level 100 Garchomp with neutral hits or non-STAB super-effective moves.

Just goes to show, anytime you put elite four in Unova, you’re gonna get rocked.
