Ответитьprobably should have told people not to just sprint in the middle of the enemy team with his dash and then not using it to sprint back i see too many things use their dash to push our team but then have 0 escape bc their team is too far for the jump i’ve had more success saving the dash for an escape or helping our back line with divers

ОтветитьAs a Bucky main, I feel like the Thing is a double edged sword for me. On one hand, I don’t like that my get off me tool no longer works because the Thing is immune to displacement abilities so if he’s in close range, I have to run and hope for the best. On the other hand, I like his immunity to displacement abilities because Bucky’s grab works as a stun tool against him and doesn’t pull him in. It instead gives my team time to focus on him. Overall, stay away Ben and we can be friends.

That's the point!
First, while primary melee does less damage its actually way better when the target is getting healed, as you get reduced healing when taking constant damage. While the right click has a moment of no damage taken, allowing the enemy to get healed. Secondly you aren't getting healed, you are getting 50 temporary health. So if you are taking 100 damage a second, its not reduced to 50. This is not comparable to healing!

ОтветитьU can do a friendly leap cancel into the fist, so when you leap to a friend that is fighting an enemy u can come to them with a fost already charaged, starting a fight with 90 hp down on the enemy

ОтветитьAnother important thing I feel like you should mention is jump punching. Where you jump while throwing your charge punch. If done optimally it’s actually faster than just walking normally. Though that’s just one of many benefits of doing it
ОтветитьPSA: Yes, The Thing can be stunned. However, he cannot he stunned during his charge. At all. This includes being stunned other thing ults and more importantly Strange’s ult.

ОтветитьSpamming his Charge Punch is a bad habit. Its best when used situational. You can walk at your opponents while punching after a charged Punch and finish them faster.
ОтветитьOther perks to note, The Yancy Street charge makes The Thing immune to a lot of stuns. Including ultimates like Jeff's, Penni's webs, I think Doctor Strange's Eye of Aggamoto, and others. Meaning if you know its coming you can avoid them and beat the bricks off the people when the rest of your team would be out

ОтветитьI think overly relying on the charge punch is a misstep. Thinking about the design of the game, Charge Step has a massive downside in the fact that it has a large bit of downtime between each punch. While you can circumvent the slow effect by jumping before you punch, you'll still be sacrificing control for a slightly fatter punch.
The dps isn't high enough to warrant that sacrifice of control even 80% of the time, so it's actually somewhat situational. If you are just trying to hit a bunch of enemies or hit a distant/flying target, go for it. However, if you are gunning down one enemy or don't want to commit too hard in a dicey spot, there is no reason to risk them escaping you or making yourself an easier target.
You can still do the instant slam without having to put ur settings on hold to dash. Just tap it when you want to stop.

ОтветитьCharge punch is good on squishies, but a tank it's better to just main attack them while dotting in a few charge punches.

ОтветитьYou're actually a bit wrong on the wind up punch. Regular primary punches kill faster. You can use secondary punch in combos. Also when you are leaping to a teammate on the Frontline, charging up secondary punch is a good trick.
