I love and appreciate your honesty about India except one thing which is crime against women. Actually, women are the ones harassing and abusing men emotionally and financially than the men do the same to women. Apart from that, I agree to all the bullets you pointed out.

India has better medical and food options that’s it. Other than that as this girl said India is going back ward, no doubt. would have left easily I got American visa as well but being only kid and now only thing I have is my mother . even if want to I wanna stay with her as she is aging and sick so staying in India is a choice I made knowing this I have a golden option to move to states but I decided to stay here not coz I’m a psycho patriotic but this is my life.

violence begets violence... if one community can chop off a tailors neck in broad day light just coz poor fella did a like to a social media post...expecting others to sit quite as if nothing happened is not being open minded but cowardice. Must use grey cells sometimes and not taking moral high ground always to show one is really smart :(

You are bengali. therefore, your opinion doesn't matter to Indians. talk only about your state or bangladesh. 90% of indians don't consider bengali as indian.

I dont support your opinion maam. What do you think, are other countries fair? Every country has criminals & some infrastructural disadvantages. By your opinion you seem to be an anti Indian.
Every day news regarding crimes & killings and harassment in USA and other countries are also heard maam. It is just that some people of indian origin living outside India feel sensitive enough to adjust in its environment, & they keep on blaming India. Seriuosly such people are not indians but ANTI INDIANS.

My biggest gripe with moving back is women’s safety. Being a working woman who does not have the option to work from home and also a mother to a girl. I am worried i will succumb to the anxiety of having to work out the day to day logistics to ensure mine and my daughter’s safety

LEAVE NOW! The mass flooding of immigrants from India has destroyed Canada, causing severe housing shortages all over the country, and driving up the price of everything due to higher demand, and jamming up our health care system. Immigrants are scamming the Canadian system at the expense of Canadian tax payers. LEAVE!

In Australia, we're about 50 years ahead of you. Your are very good, and you have an independent and a good perspective. The government will look to foreigners to buy expensive property. That's what pulls the price up. 18 months in India during the pandemic taught me allot about India. It's the same in the west!!

Hun there is no “freedom” of speech in canada either. If a country can lock your BANK account for participating in a truckers peaceful protest, then you don’t have free speech.

Wow my South Indian husband says the same thing. He worked professionally in India until he came to the US to earn his Masters. Sometimes as an American I joke and say let’s move to India and he tells me the work culture is toxic and he recognizes that even though India has fresh food and many family members , the western countries have more work life balance and opportunities for a better quality life. It’s nice to visit India, even for months at a time, but live entirely? No. Maybe if you have a lot of money.

The government has done so much development in the last 10 years.

I have lived out of India since 1992, yet plan to spend my retired life in India. I refute the points the speaker tells as 1. Freedom of speech- Tune India today channel and u will see how the anchor degrades the govt. Recently Rahul Gandhi said in the USA that Sikhs are in danger of losing their religious identity, yet over 65% of the Indian defence sector belong to that particular community. 2. Farmers strike : How is that only farmers from Punjab and Haryana are protesting while the farmers from the rest of the states are not? There have been reports that funding for this anti-govt protests was traced to Canada, USA, Australia and UK. 3. Cost of living: Yes, any economy that shows a steady growth has to bear the inflationary pressures. With 2% growth we, in Canada face about 5% inflation. Is the middle class better here? I belong to it and my answer is NO, after living here for 2 decades. 4. Religious divide: Let the speaker read on what happened post independence in India. It is more than a proven fact that vote bank politics was played to give advantages to a minority while dividing the majority. What is wrong if corrective measures are being taken? 4. Finally, the speaker should go to Brampton to see the issues faced by the student population, who came here dreaming of a good life now on the verge of deportation. Who is to blame if a college with a capacity of 200 issued 4000 visas? Was the immigration department sleeping?? And RCMP arrested 2 individuals on PR status who belonged to ISIS. Let us first clean the system here rather than berating India

Being a Delhiite I can vouch for the fact that it is non livable. Lawlessness, pollution, over aggression, extreme weather, non hygiene, crime, corruption, adulteration in food etc are all over looked and that is how it will be forever. Unfortunately at 32, due to personal constraints, I won't be able to settle abroad now. Maybe sometime in future, I will try to settle down in a more livable place in India itself. Your video title is quite apt. You are a brave girl simply for making this video. I can see people in the comment section getting offended over your opinion about living in India and the historical part that you talked about. Arre bhaiyon history ka achaar daale jab present situation itni bakwas hai middle class ke liye. There are lot of Indias within India itself.

India is regressing socially as current regime wants it to revert to Stone Age and become superstitious lot right in the 21st century. Everywhere you see cows and garbage on the roads and superstitious people are feeding garbage to the cows on the roads. People are littering rivers to hell due to their superstitious beliefs.

Not a regular NRI and I don't have any wish to return home just yet or maybe ever. I don't live in the UK or USA though...I have lived and worked in different countries (not all of them were western countries). My child grew up in 5 different countries, goes to an international school with kids from 60 different countries, and feels at home in different cultures. His best friends are British and Colombian. A true third culture kid. He speaks his Indian mother tongue fluently at home, English with an accent, and Spanish. He plans to study in Europe after school and doesn't want to settle in India either. I find the quality of life to be much, much higher abroad and you get to be who you are. Yes, we miss our families back home but they visit and they understand and respect our choices. Not all NRIs go abroad just to make money (I am an educator, so definitely not in for the money) or work in IT:-) I love my life and I know how privileged I am to have lived in some amazing places and have met some amazing people along the way. Won't trade this life for anything.
