One source I don't see is the battery operated candle holder on your bedroom wall next to the cupboard. You've spoken before about lighting, but it would be helpful for me to learn more about why you selected the particular lighting options. It is recommended that you don't use the toilet bowl tablets bc they will rot the rubber components. I wonder if the denture tablet is safer?

My mother used to say, if you’re leaving a room, glance around and see if anything needs taking elsewhere on your way out. Like a coffee cup or an envelope from a document. Put the cup in the sink, or dishwasher, put the envelope in the recycling if appropriate and the contents somewhere secure if appropriate and deal with it with the priority it is due. Never go empty handed. When I came in from school, my uniform had to be taken off and play clothes put on, folding the uniform for next day. We didn’t use washing machine every day.

I’m better at cleaning and decluttering than tidying and arranging things so they look aesthetically pleasing. The strange thing is that I’d rather clean the toilet than plump up the sofa cushions, but it is probably just because the latter task is not an engrained habit. Now I’m trying to train myself to check a space before I leave it, and move things around so they look more organised.

I don’t allow myself to have my first cup of coffee in the morning UNTIL I’ve emptied the dishwasher. (Cheshire, UK 🇬🇧)

The problem with your method is that you are constantly busy cleaning or tidying up.

Should be obvious but just in case, please use a new cloth after using it on trash bins or toilets, and wash your hands, otherwise you’re tracking bacteria all over the house

Would you mind telling me where you got your lovely broom that you sweep with. Has an offset handle and great bristles. Also, where did you get your mattress for your bed…I like the fact there is seemingly no box spring and wonder if it is comfortable. I live in Canada.

I watch because I am drawn to this lifestyle. I spend most of my day picking up after my Mr. He is like a 6 year old discarding as he moves around.
