Roughly 15 years ago, the Nostalgia Critic reviewed Superman IV. And 15 years later, Superman I, II, and III were all reviewed within the month of March.

I watched this video after I saw the other three Superman reviews. Also, how come Superman never burns through the Earth's atmosphere when he reenters?

Gotta hand it to Christopher Reeve! Even in a rough film like this one he still delivers an amazing performance! Great review! This movie is definitely messy though but it can also be a bit of a guilty pleasure if you just want to relax for a while. Also truly an excellent treat to see this crossover review event! Doug and linkara have fantastic chemistry together!

I was just listening to Neil DeGrasse Tyson's StarTalk on his sci-fi movie tier ranking.

That brought me back to this video, because honestly, the physics displayed in the movie would make him lose his shit.

Superman 4 is really bad, they did it on purpose to give us such a crap, we don't understand anything, Superman fights an electric man who drools who screams and runs juices, the scene of the mussiles in space in the net or when he rebuilt a dam with his eyes, no senses, we could have fallen even lower, too bad.

Superman IV is still better than most of the CW DC shows, at least.

Am I the only one who thinks Nuclear man looks like a live-action version of DIO from JJBA?

The real reason superman took out all the nuclear weapons is because it would empower godzilla to much

erm.. the sound cut out between 9 and 20 minutes in.

My favorite parts were nuclear man spinning Lenny around like a fan (Lenny is also supergirls lex Luthor) and the inmates making fun of lex when he was brought back also the obvious green screen during the flying scenes and the fight in space 🤣

Funnily enough, for that scene where Superman shifts back and forth between identities with Lois and Lacey, it's revealed in the comics that Superman actually keeps realistic robotic duplicates of himself to impersonate Clark while he's off on Superman duties. They could've just used that plot thread in.

I had basically the same complaint of this as Superman III. When I saw Superman III, I was like why would you make a Superman movie where the boss fight is a super computer, and NO WHERE in this movie do you use the word Brainiac. Then they make this one where Superman has to fight a clone of himself made by Lex Luthor and NOT ONCE do they use the phrase Bizarro. Yes, I know, real life IP rights. I don't care, this always pissed me off.

I truly love superman 4. Is it a good movie LOL of course not but I love the cheese horrible effects. I can’t explain my love for it at all.
