I love Link's Awakening, but I feel like some issues are being glossed over and I wanted to bring them to your attention! Let me know if you've been enjoying the game!

The amount of times you’ve said the word “game” in this video is off the charts. Lol. It is indeed an amazing game, one if my fav zelda games and one of the best remakes ever made

My wife hates video games in general, its the only game I have seen my wife play 3 days straight without leaving her bedroom.

What an idiot, bad reviews get videws and that's why this video exists, this game is near perfect, there's no 'truth' hidden away 🙌

Has it ever been determined why RG yell-talks the whole time and talks so damn fast? It's actually exhausting to listen to.

Even with some small issues, this remake has to be in my top 10 Switch games even now in 2023. Not that it hasn't sold a decent amount, but I feel like way too many people are sleeping on this one... So much concentrated Zelda goodness ha.

uh the inventory system is much better. did ya play the original? you said you did.

just beat it after buying it for full price.
as a Zelda fan, it's worth it.
if this is your first Zelda game, DO NOT BUY it at full price.
you'd be better off buying Breath of the Wild.
the reason i say this is this: this game was made for the people who remember this game.
this game is aggravating and i know for sure i am not the only one who went through a boat load of AA batteries as a kid trying to beat this game on the original gameboy.
I had the DX black cartridge for gameboy and it took me forever to beat it. at age 8 or 9 i stole a gaming magazine from Safeway that had a walkthrough for this game and that was the only way i could beat it.
you have to TALK TO EVERYONE. certain things won't happen unless you talk to a certain person or do a trading sequence.
it's annoying, im not gonna lie, and they could have done a much better job on that part. in the remake they should remind you from time to time that you need to trade items you find with people that want them, or else the game won't progress. perhaps have an area highlighted on the map leading you to it?
i don't know.
but if i hadn't of played this game before, i'd be furious. you should never have to go online to find out how to beat a game; you just shouldn't.

that being said, it is still a great and fun game. graphics are awesome. music is great.
it has some frame rate issues, the running option was removed, and the dungeon creation was a flop.

Playing through this right now for the first time ever!! Definitely using walk-throughs or I'd be playing for a year! Just got to the bird tower

My kids will be raised on the classics, before I allow them to play any modern Zelda, Mario, Metroid, etc. they have to complete some of the classics first so they have an appreciation of how these franchises started and evolved. I would never let my kids first Zelda be BOTW

Currently playing the GameBoy Color version on the new GameBoy emulator on the Switch. I’m really enjoying it even tho I’m not a big Zelda fan. The Color version will be my first Zelda game I ever played to beat. With the Remake, I do want to get it now and see how much it was improved.

I got the original links awakening when I was 4 or 5. This was on the orginal gameboy. My gameboy had a clear case. Then I got a gameboy color. I've been playing this game forever. Today I just got this version

Nah man. I never played it On gameboy so definitely not nostalgia. Other than Link to the Past, I think this is the best Zelda game, and top 5 game for the Switch. Any criticisms you have are wroooong! You’re just nitpicking. Good vid but.

The edges being blurry it’s like the game is telling you that you are dreaming just like how the ending shows you that you’ve been asleep The Whole time

I wish to see a remake of majoras mask I think that was my favorite game

This remake was my first Zelda game and I loved it. The metroidvania style item progression and exploration mixed with hand crafted dungeons and puzzles is just awesome. I hope to see more classic Zelda games brought to the Switch. I just started Breath of the Wild and I'm having a blast but so far I feel more like I am playing horizon zero dawn featuring Link than a Legend of Zelda game. I'm sure by the time I finish it I will love it though.

The blurring effect is probably a pathetic fail attempt to cut back on framerate drops which still drop because nintendo makes weak trash systems with technical limitations because of it. Nintendo makes good exclusive games its own systems cant even play properly. Hilarious and pathetic

I really enoyed this game on Switch. Great dungeons, art design, and music.

What about the complete lack of direction. You never know how to beat an enemy or how to do anything in the dungeons. I have to constantly look up walk throughs to find out ever step to do or how to defeat bosses without dying 100 thousand times

I never honestly grew up with nintendo nor video games. The most i played was roller coaster tycoon kn pc. So tbh i bought my first nintendo system last year during covid and introduced myself to the zeldaverse with botw. I got links awakening and actually enjoyed it. Highly recommend
