Yep the 60s for the great years to grow up in Penny Candy everything was basically affordable when was the day that you enjoy life to the fullest

I still don't understand what is wrong with drinking from a garden hose ??

i grew up in the 60's..im now 63 and i drank from a garden hose this past summer.....it was better tasting than when i was a kid😅

Banana seat bicycles and riding the third seat in the station wagon. I definitely did both.

Nothing wrong with drinking out of the hose. People are such babies. 😖

The water from the hose just tasted different back then. 💧

I was there through it all and have the most wonderful memories. People the music the neighborhoods all of it was awesome. 👍

My kids grew up in the 2000's and when they were hot and sweaty from riding bikes, etc., THEY too drank from the garden hoses and golf course cold water fountains (meant for golfers!)😂
