The prototype being Elliot does make sense. Remember, Catnap locked the teachers inside the school. Catnap saved the children. Catnap worships the Prototype and takes order from him.

Things he was right about and things he was wrong about:
1. The prototype is the one controlling the toys. This appears to be 100% correct based on the hour of joy and that mommy long legs loading screen.
2. 1006 is a good guy: the evidence points to this being right, especially with him literally sacrificing his freedom to save an orphan.
3. The prototype is being the death messages: I agree with this theory but we don’t know for sure.
4. Elliot ludwig is 1006: new evidence points to this not being true. We don’t know for sure, but it seems like it’s the employee rich instead.
