The long term success of Ingenuity was invaluable to the Perseverance mission! After the initial scheduled flights to collect IT’S mission data, Ingenuity guided the rover past obstacles and identified points of interest to investigate!

Wouldn't it be metal if we, humans, after walking and building bases in the mars, retrieve these bots and mark them as what was the first step towards the imperium of men?

it maybe tiny but it is the only weather station on the planet. Almost all the other robot overloads on the planet are dead. We went from Kitty Hawk to flying on another planet pretty quickly, hope the learning pace continues.

I worked at NASA JPL back when the Veeyager twins were just getting off the ground.

The campus was utter chaos, but extraordinarily interconnected.

I've always been amazed at the levels of perfection that each Mission apparently achieved.

Ingenuity met her fate the day she sat down a little too hard.

Her Counter-rotating wings met each other because of a 90 degree precession due to gyroscopic physics.

Perhaps a wider gap between the two rotors might have saved her.
