My favourite manga series of all time! Here we go.... I have a few issues with the anime but overall the first season was pretty good

season 2 is good, season 3 sucks tho

please never watch this atrocity again, the Tokyo Ghoul anime is one of the worst adaptations of all, even if the quality of the animation is good, this adaptation completely ruins the original work, cuts out important parts,
changes half of the story and so on, it gets there at the end of Re: and people who only watched the anime are left thinking that Kaneki is just an emo, edgy and depressive protagonist with no depth and that the story is all confusing and meaningless, so if If you want to watch something from Tokyo Ghoul, watch the manga even if it's off camera,
because it's really worth seeing the Manga of this work, and I tell you, the manga is a masterpiece

Other seasons are good just not as dark as season 1

Tokyo Ghoul is one of the best anime i have ever watched and one of the best manga i have ever read.
For non-manga readers the anime with all seasons will be a spectacle. Enjoy it!!

For manga readers unfortunately we got ruined years ago but if you see the anime as an standalone story as the mangaka intended it to be, it is actually quite enjoyable.
(Though not nearly as much as the manga version, everything is explained throughly so you dont feel left out all of a sudden etc.)

As far as I know, season 3 goes back to being in line with the manga, but I didn't see it, just read the manga after seeing the end of season 1 and the unsanitary style of the manga just worked better tbh. Also, that OP slaps so hard

oh my goodness!!!! I can't believe you're going to read it!!!! The anime truly is a pale comparison unfortunately...but the manga is immaculate!!! I do recommend some caution, pay attention to everything on the page. Often times there is foreshadowing in small details like the simple shape of tears. The author is insanely good!
