I thought Thomas Jefferson wrote the declaration of independence. actually 99.9% sure Thomas Jefferson wrote the declaration of independence. I’m just saying.

Title Inappropriate. Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration. Franklin substituted two words. All be it, important ones.

Thomas Jefferson was the author, Franklin was just part of the team of advisors. Come on this is basic stuff

"Dr. Franklin! I say, Dr. Franklin! Sir, what kind of government have you given us?"

My 7th great grandmother was his step grandmother. I don't care about the flaws of Franklin or any of our other founding fathers. We are all flawed as humans anyways. In fact their flaws make them even more fascinating to me. Imagine having our lives put under a microscope and written about for centuries to come.

Ben Franklin came after Isaac Newton but where did he really live. Both were inventors the only thing Ben may of traveled more and wasn't in Church supposedly as much as Isaac
