I started to get back into collecting and am new to most of this so my apologies if there is an obvious answer to my question. Can anybody explain to me why there is a significantly better chance to pull an autographed card from a hanger box as opposed to a value/blaster box? Is it exclusive to this series or is this normal? Common sense tells me that the cheaper and smaller the product the lesser the chance of pulling this hits are. Just was surprising to me.

Paul Skenes RC is US100. I cannot wait for my lone hobby box to arrive next Wed...wish I had enough to buy a case or case of Jumbo or even a single Jumbo at the time of pre order. But it will definitely be some blasters, hangers and companion boxes after I open that hobby. I just hope my auto or relic is a big one. I wonder why they don't do Monsters of Update? I would have loved to get more 89 Foilboards with Update.

The 2024 Topps Update will sell out everywhere and in every configuration it is sold. The price should go up for all formats -- Hobby, Jumbos, Mega, Blasters, Hangers and Fat/Value Packs. Yes, this could be like 2022 -- or if we are lucky maybe even like 2018 if you eventually get 3 Superstars to come out of the year.

The problem is that Topps is producing over 60 different sets and online offerings each year. If you like one or all of the top 6 Players (Elly Dela Cruz, Jackson Merrill, Jackson Chourio, Paul Skenes, Wyatt Langford and Jackson Holliday), which Topps product do you Buy? I have purchased Topps, Topps Chrome, Bowman Chrome, Finest and Museum Collection for now along with planning to buy Topps Update, Topps Update Chrome, Bowman's Best, Bowman Sterling. Each of the 9 sets I collect all come with Parallels, Inserts, Autographs, Relics, SPs and SSPs. This is incredibly expensive because I like all 6 of the Players I mentioned. I even picked up some lesser RCs from the 9 sets I am collecting.

Like I said before, I still have hundreds of Wander Franco RCs from 2022...worthless now that he is known as "To Catch a Predator". Classic case of why Sportscards are the riskiest items you will ever buy! 🤓⚾️

I have a huge complaint - the Rockies checklist for updates is weaaaak they miss out on some great rookie debuts

I bought 2 hobby boxes of these hoping for a 1/1 Ohtani or Paul skenes or someone or a 1/5 or 1/10 someone good that’s all I want. Ima keep it sealed for a while tho until I watch a lot of other people open them like you and see what’s left and if I have a chance of heat 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
