we had a 280 SE and a 230.6 WITH A 280E( 114 model) AT THE SAMETIME.... man it was what my best memories were made of. we toured the entire boarder of South Africa in an even older 230 S fin-tail. one puncture( dad hit a huge ass pothole) and one pint of oil. that was it. did it over our summer holidays in December 1976. later used the 230.6, which was tuned back then by my dads friend, this thing was proper fast, and NOBODY BELIEVED IT WAS AS FAST AS WE SAID IT WAS,. think that a BMW M535I (1st dog-left back, a Gettrag gearbox) could not pull away from it, in fact after 2 kms, we started to open a small gap over it. sadly all was sold when my dads company closed, forcing the sales. i want one or all of these beauties. one day.......
stunning as hell and i will admit, they dont make them with this style or class anymore( still a big Mercedes nutcase of note though. and still love Mercedes as my fav brand. and well Brabus, say no more.....i just say.....Brabus Rocket is enough for me.

Overrestored cars with the old technology. Only for investors. Yet, the cars are dead with no lived life. If the new car owner use these "better than new" cars, all be fine. But I suspect they will stand the wheels off in garages. Not even JP Krämer wants to buy one of these...
