In this metal detecting episode I’m hunting a small spot with some technical interruptions and a big surprise. The location looked nice (except for the ugly forest) and I had a good feeling about it.
Unfortunately I run into some technical issues caused by the camera that kept overheating for no reason. It was cool outside, with a breeze of fresh wind and yet it was supposedly too hot for the DJI Osmo Action 4.
Despite the problems I was able to make a short, but productive treasure hunt. I actually found two gold plated relics that day. The gild was fully visible at home after cleaning, which came as a big surprise.
One of the items was a French Revolutionary button. The other one could have been from a military helmet.
I also found two 1800’s coins and a 1700’s button among other finds.
I hope you enjoyed this episode.
Thanks for watching!
