ОтветитьJust a tip for rice cooking:
Always clean the rice twice with cold water before cooking as they would use pesticides to avoid the formation of bugs in them.
Secondly Soaking a rice in cold water for 15 mins before cooking would help rice cooking quicker and brings it to a new form.

ОтветитьAwesome recipe.. My beautiful wife is Thai so she knows a little about cooking rice , we use 1:1 water to rice 11 minutes simmer then off the heat leave it covered for 10 minutes perfect !

ОтветитьOh, that looks DEvine! I am so jealous. I live in Arizona. We have lovely Mexican food, but, in all the years I've lived here I have yet to find any - ANY - place that can make a decent curry. It's hard to even find decent ingredients. I have to order them online and pay through the nose. 😞
ОтветитьGosh I hope those hands were washed thoroughly as he then cut up uncooked lettuce. Salmonella which is common on chicken is really hard to remove even by washing. So advise using gloves for the meat

ОтветитьFollowed your instructions (almost) to a T, except used 2 fresh tomatoes instead of tinned, mango juice instead of a fresh mango, used 6 chicken legs instead of boneless breast and body-swerved the red chili. This is by far the curry I have ever made; thanks Jamie.

Chicken curry kind of dish doesn't exist in India...
The curry name is totally different dish in India... It have some sour taste... A curry is made up of curd or yoghurt without added sugar or salt... The curd should dilute with water the concentration enough like a water but not that much, it lost its sour taste... Cook it add some gram flour mentain the liquid consistency... Add all the ingredients... And when it half cooked add fries or pakodas in the dish and cook in a low flame cover it...
Please stop saying gravy as curry... I don't know why Indians are letting you the same mistakes as the British officers did... stereotyped every Indian dish which consist gravy called them curry... This is really an offense on our rich diverse heritage of Indian cuisine...
