50-60 years is satisfactory. Prison isn't nice. He'd at least start out in Maxi, which wouldn't have been a walk in the park. How utterly awful and shocking. That son and mother are amazing. It's not something anyone would ever get over, but their strength build new is incredible and a - can't find the right word - but I'm sure their beautiful family they miss would want them to do. I wonder how the murderer's family are.

The Death Penalty is State Sanctioned Murder and never justified. It also murders innocent people at a disturbingly high rate although one person executed in error would be one too many. The numbers have however been in the thousands.

In my case i wished for the Dth penalty more than anything (in England we don’t have it) but divine intervention did it the easy way, I’ve had two brutal Dths within my close family and both of them offed themselves one commented self deletion just before the trial and the other offed himself by getting gobby with one of the ‘heads’ in Bradford who helped him a little bit.
Strangely the ‘helper’ got sentenced to a measly 4 years (to serve 18 months minimum) for manslaughter with mitigating circumstances.. the irony of getting the exact same sentence as my step~sons k!lleR I wish i could from shaking his hand to go buy him a car it still would never be enough to show him how we all feel about it.
I don’t care for dogooders in these situations, if there is the slightest doubt of guilt no offing those found guilty however beyond reasonable doubt means beyond reasonable breathing. You will never shame me for those opinions because before this happened to me and mine was of the opinion that a life is still a precious thing from humans to the tiniest amoebae from great oaks to weeds everything deserves to live one way or another.
The only change for me is humans no longer fit into that category.
On that cheerful note 😉😉 I’ll wish you all a grand week.. 22 days until Christmas lads and lasses DO start early you’ll kick yourself later if you don’t .. yeah you KNOW you will 😘😘

I literally just watched a different case on a different channel where the murder was carried out by the handyman.A real reminder to be careful who we let in our house.I am guilty of not doing enough due diligence over people I’ve hired in the past.Terrifying how some repay trust.

The Taxpyers pay for them to stay in prison. Thousands of dollars a year!!

Not only was Mark Aldridge's wife 8 months pregnant, and having to deal with the murder of her husband, but Alvarez tried to frame him as the killer. What an evil man.

I never heard of this, and I lived in Fairfax County, right next to Montgomery County, just across the Potomac River. I used to think the death penalty was worse, but have changed my mind.
I hope the mother and son are well. I hope the wife and the now grown baby fared well, over the years.
May the dead rest in peace.

Of course people would rather stay behind bars for the rest of their lives. They can make friends, they can discover new hobbies, they can still read good books, and let's face it, even have sex. Maybe not the way of life they would have wanted but its definitely better than death.

May this case be another reminder for women to trust their instincts. Erma was brave enough to tell her husband and he was an absolute idiot to think he knew better. At the very least, if dad had to leave, he should have taken his daughter with him! Especially since he knew of his wife's concerns and that would have shown his concern for her, too. It's not uncommon for foremen and construction owners to bring help along. It is uncommon to leave your 14 yo daughter alone with only the assistant there. Also, I'm a long time sub and haven't been shown your releases in months! I'm going to try unsubbing and subbing again. Hope it works!

I don't understand why he wasn't released with as stern warning. This happened in the most radical left counties in America. His defense should have been, he was an oppressed minority immigrant who 5 white wealthy oppressors, should have been given a medal and elected county commissioner. What a travesty of justice

Crime Reel, I believe that if a person takes another’s life , especially in a premeditated , willful, and calculated way they have forfeited their right to live. Self defense and accidental are excluded although if you accidentally kill someone you should do time as well and pay restitution to the family. That’s just my humble opinion on the matter. Will having a death penalty deter murders, probably not, but it brings a balance of justice, especially in cases where the perpetrator is a violent repeat offender, who shows no signs of wanting to become a productive member of society.
