I've never had/used a metal detector before. Would you recommend the simplex lite over the bounty hunters? Also how has this simplex lite been going for you?

Great video on this machine. Ive been thinking of adding md'n to my outdoor hobbies for a while now. This line up is very attractive when considering the features at the cost. The Lite being the base model appears to be a good starter machine. One question i have tho, do you feel limited by the gold/silver detecting with this machine? Would you see yourself starting for the first machine with the Lite vs the plus or ultra? TIA And thank you for sharing!

I returned mine after one use. I have a few other detectors but I found this unit's sound/tone was so annoying and grating. Trying out the Garrett AT Max now

Man, for the price, I'd say a great deal for park style hunting, I'd love to run it at an older house lawn and see what kind of depth you can get

I might have to get me one of those 9“ x 5“ coils for my ultra. I loved my 9“ x 5“ coil for my Simplex +.

Pretty good little unit! I have the Ultra and I like it.

My simplex goes nuts when I use my pinpointer I shut the detector off to use my pinpointer.

That thing looks like it picks up more than costly metal detectors do.

Are all detectors water proof?

I'm thinking about switching from a Teknetics Eurotec Pro to one of these new generations of Simplex detectors. Would the Lite be a decent upgrade or do I need a BT or Ultra to make it worth it?

I have to say, you chose an interesting location for putting your digging tool at – especially with that particular grip colour.. Maybe going to a playground with the current setup might not be the best idea, could potentially get you some critical looks from the parents. 😋

Looks like a good performsr. I do like the small coil, but I think Id rather have wireless headphones and would go with the bt or ultra if I were getting one. I still have a Simplex+ and the sp24. Very good machine.

I'll be interested to see what it does near salt water, too. If it's stable, I'll have to consider it for my granddaughter's next detector. Thanks for this video!

Every crucifix I've ever dug sounded like crap. Higher conducting versions sound better, the gold ones all sound terrible. lol.

All I got at the beach the other day with my much more expensive Nokta Legend was $1.82. You beat my hunts yet again! Nice, first day out you paid off 1% of the cost of your machine. Another hundred hunts and it will pay for its self. That's all you need for modern park hunting. Most deep silver was already found years ago in most areas. Now I'm mostly an actual treasure hunter that needs maximum depth for places like the Treasure Coast were the things I seek are likely to be deep in the historic sediment layers.

Great hunt for a cheaper machine , i run the Ledgend with the lg24 , was also having the interference on it when I turned on pinpointer , found out do a frequency shift and interference goes away, but great hunt and keep the videos coming !

Wow, a great machine at a great price. The Lite costs less than the CoilTek 10x5 coil I bought for my Nox 800!! Looks like a good detector for travel also and it would be a great one as a backup. Great video and tutorial!! Thanks!!😎👍😎

I was thinking of getting myself a waterproof machine, and can’t decided whether to get the xterra pro or the simplex+. In the shop where I get my stuff they come at the same price. You have both so which one would you recommend?

Got to say I'm pretty impressed with the lite. Definitely best bang for the buck being under 200 bucks. Love those 9x5 coils. Can't beat them at the park. Happy hunting brother!

THAT'S WHAT I WANT, I'M SO SICK OF THE VANQUISH MONSTER COIL. IT JUST SUCKS IN TRASHY ALSO THE VANQUISH RECOVERY IS DOWN RIGHT INSANELY SLOW TO THE POINT THAT I CAN SMOKE A CIGARETTE AND WAIT FOR IT TO CLEAR AGAIN.
