I don't see Seattle being much of a contender with Darnold. It might make sense in terms of money and age but it doesn't make them a truly competitive team.

Nothing but bad to mediocre qbs all over the league. Maybe 3 or 4 qbs worth paying the rest arent good and it all comes down to how cheap you can get them if they aren't one of the few elite qbs. College doesn't develop good qbs anymore and haven't for awhile. Pay for a stacked team with an ok qb as opposed to overpaying for a mediocre qb and surround him with garbage. No good qbs in this draft and i bet no good qbs in next years draft. Easily the worst qb play i have ever seen. I watch games without gambling or playing fantasy and the majority of the games are trash. The majority of the qbs are trash. If gambling and fantasy didn't exist nfl ratings would Plummet because they would have to watch the games instead of their phones

Don't forget the Vikings also got blasted the game before the playoffs against a team with a decimated defense and it cost them the #1 seed. Darnold messed the bed two straight games.

Two of the things I wasn't liking about Geno was he showed too much negative emotion and he wasn't consistent. If the Hawks don't improve that O-line though, Darnold is going to have a rough year getting chased around and sacked a lot. If our O-line had been better, I don't think we would've let Geno go, and I would've been ok with that too, but it wasn't, soooo..... Let's Go Sam!!

Apparently they didn't see all the free agents at the Vikings signed showing up their d-line their o-line cornerback and the draft coming up

Geno is old, maybe one more good year in him. It was a good move to get a decent QB at a decent price. They want to play defense and run the ball…,if they beef up the O line and start holding teams to 12 points it might end up being a solid move.

Geno had 17 TD 15 INT through week 17 last year and was worst QB in REDZONE. Darnold is 7 years younger and has upside and is on a 2 year contract committ now. Plus Hawks got a 3rd round pick . NO BRAINER. Geno had a chance to prove he was worthy of a new contract and he crapped the bed in 2024. Good passer but questionable decision making when it counted most. I like Geno but he did nothing to be able to demand a big contract.
