Gill I want to know your thoughts on this it’s about the WTA. Do you not think that the women in their normal masters or 500’s or 250 events should play a best of 3 sets but in the third set instead of there being games they should simply play a super tie break (e.g its one set all now in set three it’s simply a super tie break from the start). In slams they can have their normal method where they play games and at 6-6 play the super tie break. This way there will be some sort of difference between their slams and their other events just like there is on the men’s side where they have best of 3 in masters events and 5 sets in slams.
ОтветитьYou rock!!
ОтветитьKeep your head high 😅
ОтветитьSubscribed 😀
ОтветитьI see tennis channels with 100k + subscribers and they are way far the quality and knowledge you bring on your channel! How the hell is possible?
ОтветитьFor the numbers people, it makes sense for Novak to retire at the AO. For those who believe it should be where he is most appreciated, or “loved” as some might say, his retirement ceremony should be in Belgrade. The USO doesn’t really make sense because it is neither; he is not the most appreciated nor holds the record for most wins.
ОтветитьLove your coverage, Gill. Cheers!
ОтветитьI think Rafa's been playing deuce court mostly, in doubles
ОтветитьMensik was great in that final set. The gamesmanship was low stakes stuff really, mild at most. The crowd were much more disrespectful.
ОтветитьSeemed like Hubbie was hurt. I hate when players do this... i get it's a GS but if you're not healthy enough to be competitive, do not show up. You are robbing someone else of an opportunity. Nobody wants to watch a non-competitive match.
ОтветитьGood, very good comments!
ОтветитьCurious if Gill would put Cerundolo's forehand over Fonseca's
ОтветитьHONEY WAKE UP GILL JUST DROPPED A BOMB💣
ОтветитьMan people pretend like 10 slabs at the Australian Open is a lot different than 14 at the French Open it's double-digit slams. So when it comes to retirement Djokovic could easily also retire in Australia also because there's a lot of Serbian people there. And yes I am comparing 10 to 14 14 is indeed the most impressive achievement but 10 at Australian Open is brilliant in its own way especially since hardcore have a lot more competition as the surface kind of levels the playing field
ОтветитьI wish there was LESS buzz about Fonseca. I'm sick of hearing about him and find the constant praise from announcers is nauseating and distracting. I'd like to see him get a chance to just build results and THEN get some buzz.
ОтветитьAnd love from South Africa 🇿🇦 for recording twice. Bath time with Gill Gross every night during Slams to relax!
ОтветитьLove your take on the precdictions/previews😂 If this were a gambling podcast then yes, ur predictions would matter. But its not that at all.
ОтветитьThis content is gold. Wish the content was exposed as much as possible
ОтветитьSorry you had to record again Gill! We love the effort you put into all this
ОтветитьNot much but thanks for re-recording!
ОтветитьWaiting for you to be the main guy in TC
ОтветитьThanks for your effort Gill!
ОтветитьHey Gill, it's crazy how Meddy has lost in the he first round 6 out of the 9 times he's played the French Open
ОтветитьGreat content!
ОтветитьSheesh you know it’s serious when my boy Gill curses 🤣 tiny ass court indeed
ОтветитьThanks Gil!! Loved everything you had to say, you were so right about Cerundolo being the 'sexy' pick by everyone when he isn't proven in B05 format, picking him over experience of Zverev or Djokovic wasn't smart imo. RE: Medvedev he is deffo panicked right now, im 80% sure its not gonna get any better and that he wont win a big title (like M1000 let alone slam ever again) BUT I still have tiny bit of hope as i think the problems are mental mainly he has confidence and identity crises I think its possible with the right help and a 250 event win or something he can get his confidence back again.
ОтветитьHappiness...
Listening to Gill...
You are REAL!
Monfils in a night match at RG is a dream. I listen to RG Radio and just listening is so electric. The crowds are singing and chanting, gasping at every point. It's completely electric. He's such a legend.
ОтветитьNot the ATP, but didn't Flavia and Dementieva retire or play their last matches at the WTA year-end championship?
Ответитьnovak will retire in belgrade, no ifs or buts about it
Ответитьhurckaz was obviously injured but that doesnt fit the narrative i guess
ОтветитьImo he skipped Rome to avoid playing Sinner/ Alcaraz. I.e a tactical move. Maybe he also skipped Rome as a subtle statement against the Sinner camp. Just an idea I had.
... Definitely I think lots of mind games going on and Novak for one is someone who knows the benefit of keeping distance from your main rivals until the biggest match on the biggest stage
I was thinking.
Maybe the motivation Djokovic needs is his rival Nadal. You don't see he involving the crowd anymore. He is needing someone who would say "come" to his face in every point.
Similar situation with Carlos. Playing so so most of matches earlier this year. But The moment Sinner comes back into the game, Carlos shines.
Maybe the motivation for Djokovic is playing his rivals, who are now all retired.
Apparently he got a taste of it from the Nadal celebration ceremony.
If you didnt mention the rally, i never wouldve known it existed. Gonna check it out now
Ответитьgill 🐐
ОтветитьDiallo got injured: the long leg sleeve. He played well, Cerundolo didn't. So congratulations to Diallo.
ОтветитьAfter watching dzumher today vs GMP I think he definitely deserves a spot on the movement tier list!
ОтветитьGill, would be very interested to hear your answer to the big question I have related to ELC, which is if every single stop on the tour goes to ELC, then how will we get new chair umpires? Unless I misunderstand, chair umpires start as line judges and work their way up. So what's the path if you take line judging away?
ОтветитьI'm a vigilant previews listener. Please keep them coming! As many have said sports would be boring if we always knew who would win or lose.
ОтветитьHey Gill, you got a few mentions last night on cam williams..you two should do a feature
ОтветитьGill, thanks for so much content to watch these days. Hey, you are perfect i am also an Industry hardcore fan of the tv series.
ОтветитьA bit strange that people care so much about your predictions - this isn't a gambling channel - it's an added dimension of analysis.
Ответить"This is like a vegan deciding to become a BUTCHER 👁👁" that got me 😂😂
ОтветитьSurprising to see that these INBRED IMBECILES Indians, can like a smart sports like Tennis aswell....😂😂 ❤🇵🇰🇨🇳🇧🇩
ОтветитьWouldn't the obvious answer be Austrailian Open for Djoko?? He has 10 grand slams there (more than likely 11 if not for Covid). I've always associated Djoko with AO, as Nadal to RG (I know Djoko is more rounded, but still obviously AO, for me). I'm CERTAIN AO is already working it out in their head! Serbia will have one for him too, certain, but Serbia wasn't his stopping grounds during his career.
ОтветитьGreat show. Looking forward to 2nd round one.
ОтветитьCraig O'Shannessey said he was doing some work with Gabriel Diallo and gave him advice on his net play. He said Gabriel was eager to practice those suggestions. Looks like it did pay off.
Ответитьyou’re the absolute best dawg
ОтветитьWhile you can analyze the matches played pretty good, your predictions have always been terrible, but yeah this year you have outdone yourself. No "interesting" predictions are never better than "right" predictions. If your prediction analysis was any good, you simply would be so bad at it, period.
