This is one of the videos that makes me love the idea of creating my own clothes... But then i remember that i'm a disaster when it comes to the needle and thread... And that it's a bit too hot for the clothes that i want to wear here in the Philippines...
(:>
Bravo!
Ответитьthis video makes me so incredibly happy and your bloopers are my favorite
ОтветитьI need the blouse pattern info....please
ОтветитьDoes anyone know the piano song playing during her Joe reveal? Legit brought me to tears...
ОтветитьUsing the piano music durning the transformation part as Jo March oR Louisa' May Alcott almost brought tears to my eyes thinking it was Beth March Elizabeth Alcott who was talented in the playing of the piano if she had not passed away. Also I liked some of the 2019 adaptation of Little Women but really love the 1994 version a bit more. Yet still you did a wonderful job as always Rachel and did Lousia May Alcott proud. 😊💕 - Quinn
ОтветитьAMAZING!!!!! The skirt material is so pretty. For secondhand fabric, I also shop on etsy, ebay, local marketplaces, garage/estate sales, and online secondhand crafts stores like make and mend!!! :)
ОтветитьI am about to start making my own clothes via patterns thanks to your inspiration. I mean if Rachel can do, I hope and pray I can too. Thanks for all your very encouraging content for us wee crafty but not skilled folk.
ОтветитьWas anyone able to get the Butterick pattern number for the skirt?
ОтветитьThe costume you made looks so exact to Jo. Jo is probably my favourite character of Little Women.
ОтветитьTo be honest, I didn't really like the Little Women movie
ОтветитьWhy does the Jo wig look like she hasn't done her roots?
ОтветитьOne of my favorite characters ever.
ОтветитьIM SO GLAD YOU DID ONE OF THE MARCH SISTERS!
ОтветитьI love the plant pin-cushion! did you make it yourself?
ОтветитьYou look beautiful, stunning with grey eyecontacts! 😍
ОтветитьI love how perfect the reveal is, with this great location and all the drone scenes! Congrats for your work since the beginning of your sewing journey 😍
ОтветитьAll I can say is, WOW!!!!!!
Ответитьthe skirt is lovely! How much fabric it consumed? I'd like to do something similar from recycled material but as you said it's hard to find big enough fabric .. 😅
ОтветитьDoes anyone know what the skirt pattern number is? Trying to find this pattern online. Or if anyone has a similar pattern they can link me to ,please? Thanks.
ОтветитьOh my goodness!! You are so adorable and beautiful in contacts. Thanks for inspiring me every day. You are the best!
ОтветитьI usually despise remakes of great classics but this oneee… come on!.. it’s fabulous! I’m so glad you got Jo March 🥰 she’s the best! Although if I had to choose wardrobes I wouldn’t have to think about it…. Give me Amy March’s whole closet lol
Great job 😍 feel free to send me that waist coat and blouse… ijs!

Running on to patterns, it's a pet thing.
ОтветитьVery nice, turned out very well.
ОтветитьHi Racheel! I love your channel! Can you share with us the Model for the skirt? I loved it! And i would love to be able to create one for me as well! ❤
ОтветитьLove you Rachel but those costumes in the film are just….raging dumpster fire.
ОтветитьI was irritated by the faked feminist ending. If these Hollywood "progressives" don't like the substance of a book or the correct essence of the historical period they should leave it alone. The constant WOKE-ing of books is annoying. This is where they make decisions based on politics, not creativity.
ОтветитьI love that you let us know you did indeed have trousers under that skirt just like Jo. 😉 this movie is actually my favorite of all of the versions that are out there. I loved Saiorse and Florence Pough’s performances and just the whole aesthetic of the film is so good and just GAHHHHH. It’s so good
Ответитьhow am i just now seeing this video pop up on my feed! (and a day after watching Dames a la Mode's video on making Beth's dress, too!) i am loving this outfit. it's a definite mood :)
confession time: still haven't watched the 2019 version. sad since i've seen like 3 other versions (40s version is still my favorite!)
I LOVED this Little Women ❤️
ОтветитьI am here for the Jo March love and appreciation, but you must excuse me as I now fulfill the sudden urge I have to make myself a Jo March outfit. Many thanks.
ОтветитьBeautiful job Rachel!
ОтветитьDoes anyone know the fiddle music Rachel almost always plays in her videos?
Ответить"Youths."
Indeed.
I loved this so much! I've only seen Little Women recently and it blew me away, and this outfit is just to die for :D And the wig was just fantastic, I think it suits you really well and adds so much to it. So much fun in one video! I want to make my own waistcoat now xD
ОтветитьWow you tid that sooooo PERFECT!!!!!😍
ОтветитьCame across this one ... somehow missed it! Beautiful job, your filming was wonderful! Thoroughly enjoyed it.
ОтветитьThat skirt fabric is just gorgeous
ОтветитьOh how I wish I were that talented. You are amazing. I subscribed. I will never be able to make a vision of a photo come to life like you do, but i sure enjoy watching you create fabric masterpeices.
ОтветитьLoved your video so great the outfit was amazing
Ответитьive watched this one like three times. I just love ittttt. The skirt, waistcoat-everything came out so good!
ОтветитьWith a few tweaks, this could double up as Enola Holmes cosplay as well (you've often reminded me of MBB). Wonderful video!!
ОтветитьI ❤ u so much and this project are we doing maksoween this year??? Tis time 🤌
ОтветитьYou look like Elizabeth Olsen with those contact lenses and the hair.
Great job on the costume 👏
It's amazing how different you looked when you put the contacts in!! LOVED LOVED LOVED this!!!! xx
