Many of us love the original track. I like it personally cos it takes me back to the 80's when my dad was around .. he played this music often so it reminds me of my dad as well as those fun, carefree years.
Most of us ... If not all that enjoy the original are older than 35. I would love to see a youngster listening to the original and saying they love it!
My point is... As the older generation die out... So will that song.
Remixes or cover versions appeal to the younger generation and this help the song live on for decades more.
