i remember when the guardian was a paper of the left. this is quite clearly my memory playing tricks on me as recent visits to their website have presented me with journalism entirely committed to establishment fellatio.

Says a lot about people who think they remember past lives while undergoing regression hypnosis. All it takes is a lifetime of television.

The mutable details are much, much, much less important than the significant component = first day at school, first time riding a bicycle, the fact of sexual assault, the body on the ground in front of a car (=/-?) a broken headlight.

This is preparing people for new technology that is able to record all your memories, meaning that people will be able to know all about you. There will be no secrets or lies anymore. Everything will be out in the open, digitally recorded and online.

I'm amazed how inaccurate my memory actually works.
It often happens that it combines a series of events that took place into one.

This is not strictly a memory error, but we must admit that not all memories of everyone are the same to remember and think, if it is weak it cannot be trusted in real terms because it can be tricked and modified indirectly (consciously or not).
Use your brain properly to focus on thinking so you can remember something correctly and accurately (not easy to change and manipulate)
Yes you can trust your memory.
Just Don't be weak.
