I love the little paperview build up clips where it shows your wrestler doing his finisher. Even for your created wrestler they would have their finisher.

This game makes the player such a punk! He keeps getting his ass kicked and even when you win you either end up injured or getting your ass kicked more! I know it’s satisfying to come out on top despite the deck being stacked against you but at least have us fight back! Hell the only impressive thing I can think of our characters doing is winning three extreme rules matches in a row at December to dismember!

After playing SVR 06 and 07, it was hard to love 08 especially with the fact that its 24/7 mode was a redundant version of the previous games season modes.

You can win the hardcore Championship on this season mode

Does anyone think ECW parts in the 24/7 mode were the best part? and does anyone think that in the 24/7 mode they could have had you play as the ECW Champion like CM Punk or something like that I feel you should have played as some ECW superstars in the 24/7 mode.

This game for me personally is simply okay it's not great it's not bad it's in the middle the roster in this game felt small half of them were ds and psp ports exclusives i really hate and can't believe that they removed half of the roster just to make people buy other versions of this game that's just greedy and benoit incident made it even worse and the gameplay is also good it's the first wwe game with realistic movement before this the movement in most wwe games seemed very arcadey and slidy i also like controls in this one better than wwe games before it the only thing and the caws well their totally shit i don't like the moves and abilities system i wish it had at least 3 or 4 more abilities slots and the only reason i play this game is because of gm mode it's the only best thing about it other than that it's clearly rushed

This mode is the definition of the half-assed, for example you being involved in love triangle with candice, never end up with her, or fighting with whole McMahons family for like 6 months and after Wrestlemania no one seems to remember what happened day before or when you backstage shaking everyone's hands and day after your character just goes past the exact same people with the chip on the shoulder, it's so silly that it's funny

This was a great came the carrer mode as the superstar wasn't good but it tried its best almost every superstar had voice acting 2007 has a better storyline as you could play as Rody piper or Mick Foley. The GM mode in 2008 is great if your Raw and smackdown if your ECW your screwed less pay per views, 1 championship, ratings your shafted on. But I have to admit every PPV you had that great intro.

What I don’t like abt this mode is the superstar being called the champ instead of actual name, constantly going and going, the promos being a bit off

I’ve never played this game, but based on these cutscenes, the biggest reaction you will get is confusion because WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HELL IS GOING ON?!😂

So terrible. What I hated so much about this story mode:

• Same cutscenes and sometimes the cutscenes made zero sense. You could be in a so call rivalry with someone and then shake hands with that same person in the back.

• I really hate you couldn’t even make choices. Why do you have to always “cross the boss?” No matter gets you do, you always have to go up against the McMahon family.

Story was stupid, Custscenes made no sense - irrelevant vague commentary, this was the year they killed career mode. Also gameplay was rubbish, never understood why Undertaker had a running STO move like brock lesnar lmao
