Lol American my self and for that matter a Midwesterner. If you have issues with pickles you would flip here. They pickle pretty much anything. Green beans, carrots, fish, cabbage(Sauerkraut), eggs. If you are feeling adventurous try pickled herring, eggs or pigs feet.
If you like ginger beer then try sarsaparilla you might like that more than rootbeer.
