I somehow suffer with same face syndrome and a character never looking the same from drawing to drawing 😅
ОтветитьI like my charaters with the same face so they don't look ugly, I just change the eyes
ОтветитьHnngh, I feel called out.
For me the circle of the head is more or less the same, but the face itself is different depending on what I do.
I can’t draw at all - I do programming - but these videos are pretty entertaining!
ОтветитьBut your female faces still look exactly the same, you have same face syndromr
ОтветитьONE has this “problem” but he does it look good.
ОтветитьFairy tale be hella quite 💀
ОтветитьOmfg that actually helped a lot
ОтветитьA large part of my character design preferences come from LISA The Painful/Joyful, Blasphemous, Hotline Miami and the likes, I've come to prefer disfiguered or ugly faces (even to the point of being comedically hideous) because I simply believe them to be way more expressive and interesting. And besides, the world is oversaturated with pretty perfect Mary Sue and Gary Stu characters, it's about time someone starts appreciating flaws and blemishes, and the amount of characterization they can bring.
ОтветитьWhen drawing a character’s face I would ask myself: If I only drew the eyes, would I be able to tell them apart?
That kinda helped put some variation through my characters.
even Dragonball characters has the same faces 😊
Ответить;)
Ответитьwhat if the characters were chibi?
ОтветитьBut you also changed the style lol
ОтветитьOmori characters be like:
ОтветитьThe one piece creator needs to watch this video fr….
ОтветитьI have the opposite of this, every single character of mine has the exact same hairstyle, the only difference being the faces-
ОтветитьSame thing in dragon Ball s
ОтветитьI wonder if there’s such thing as same hair syndrome, with how my storyboarding professor said too many of my characters have spiky hair styles
Ответитьonepiece girls be like
ОтветитьTHE LAST VID WAS ABOUT THIS WTH
ОтветитьAm I the only one who can't draw the same head for the same character? 💀The eyes, the nose, the hair they are all the same but the head? I CAN'T MAKE IT RIGHT
ОтветитьI do have same face syndrome. Thanks for this video
ОтветитьAnime ruined me
ОтветитьTHANKS A LOT! I WAS SUFFERING FROM THIS!😢NOW U MAKE IT REALLY EASY FOR ME!
ОтветитьKimaru i love your channel and your content but i feel like um...ahashi and adam have same face syndrome 😅
ОтветитьThank you, that could help me!
Ответитьi dont have same face syndrome, i have same hairstyle syndrome 💀 almost all my male characters have long or shoulder length hair
ОтветитьBro just spawn the dude a twin😂❤
ОтветитьBro don't use the basic "anime" artstyle for the example of the same face syndrome, it is intentional.
Ответитьwell, last guy has a different head but the… same face
ОтветитьMy faces vary, but all the eyes look the same 😢
ОтветитьI wish i could draw well enough to use this while i still remember it
ОтветитьI have the hands syndrom...
The hands i draw, the hand i use to draw and the hand that touches my drawings smudging them...
They all suck 😂
Very good tip! I try and make sure my characters have different shapes when I design them ❤
ОтветитьI draw similar head shapes, but almost all of my characters have distinct eyes and eye placements. If I'm using a style that doesn't allow that, I take the character's personality into consideration when drawing the face and pose. For example, a more shy character that's kinda just scared of everything might be a bit more hunched over, or they may be shivering. Their eyes may have bigger or smaller pupils than normal, and they probably have a mix of a smile and a frown on their face. (This is what I find helps make characters distinct when using a more simple art style.) Anyways if you're reading this thanks for listening to my yapping and pls have a good day!
ОтветитьWhat if your art style doesn't give much room? For things like trapezoidal faces?
ОтветитьI want that syndrome, I can't draw the same face consistently
ОтветитьWhat is your have a cartoony art style?
ОтветитьWhat if you have a cartoon like art that makes each character have circular heads?
Ответитьall the men look so different but all the women look so similar still...
ОтветитьTher dude at the end turned from lanky spy to fat dude who gets his way all the time lol
Edit: Wait- what if you don't have a style that's as stylised as yours is 😢
My faces look very undetailed, i draw the eyes, nose, mouth, cheek, and brow ridge... then what? It works for female characters, but i have no idea how to simplify cheekbones when they dont stick out or wrinkles and how to suggest depth in general.
Ответитьhelp, I do this regularly and still run into same face syndrome
ОтветитьDo you still think about perspective even in little sketch like this?
ОтветитьI have object heads, and very limited amount of people with a normal face T-T (this does help though)
Ответитьbut these women sketches still look dull and boring! i can't even tell the difference
Ответитьlink of the varguy artist?
ОтветитьHi
Ответитьbro i dont even know how to draw one face TwT
my artstyle changes each time
