Is it fine having tummy time for 5 weeks old baby?

I was doing the chest tummy time and my pediatric told me yesterday that it doesnt count. 😒

My son is 3 months and 2 weeks old He is not able to lift hid head or balance his head yet when in upright position. He is lean and underweight. Is it still advisbale for him to tummy time even he is lean?

I’m struck by utter cuteness. One child I watched would scream her head off whenever she was on her tummy during tummy time. I just love babies.

I don’t know if you still respond but my daughter is 7 weeks rightnow and I barely get time for tummy time because of her sleeping and eating. She’s REALLY big and eats 5 oz and then either sleeps or wants to be entertained but she has bad spit up and I don’t want her spitting up on her stomach. Whenever I do find time though, she immediately starts screaming her head off. She seems to hate tummy time no matter if I use pillows or put her on my chest. Is there any way to calm them? I don’t want to torture her.

I learned a lot from this video, and I love to learn. My baby girl sometimes has trouble with acid reflux, so after feedings I’m always making sure that I hold her upright for around 30 minutes.

Help, my baby face plants and cries the whole time. I don't know what to do. His head is very floppy.

I'm a first time parent and didn't even know about tummy time until the pediatrician brought it up at the two month checkup.

In these examples the babies are already holding their heads up, so I'm not sure what mine is supposed to look like. Might just go back to the pediatrician.

This is a great video. I do tummy time by burping her over my lap or having her lay on my chest.

I used my daughter's old glow worm from when she was a baby, and he will track it very well.
