My brother made the outro song he's such a badass.
ОтветитьDid an experiment.. All seeds given cold treatment, all in 128 cell flats, all on heat mat at 85 degrees. This is the germination rate after 10 days. 128 soaked in tea, 96 up 75%. 128 soaked in water 59 up 46% 244 no soak 163 up 66%. In this test tea wins but with no soak being easier to plant think Iwould do it the no soak method. I expect to see more germinaion happening in the next 10 days.
ОтветитьWhat's up with the tea?
ОтветитьThanks
Ответитьtotal overuse of cheap tasteless wired, visual/ sound effects. no need to keep adding them just because its free and widely available.. .I can assure you it won't add any value or creativity to your otherwise very good and helpful content ...
ОтветитьWill they germinate if I put them in my ass?
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI’m about to try and grow some ghost peppers this year to make some hot sauce . I’d never heard any of these tips but will definitely try them !
ОтветитьThis is so elaborate.
I love it.
how to grow and harvest indoors ? lights distance and light power and temperature ? Im struggling to pass the stage of sprouting , after sprouting and growing for a little and couple of leaf they are dying
ОтветитьDont forget, perlite goes into the air real quick when dry and its tocix if inhaled etc. Wear a mask or spray it with water first :)
Ответитьguide looks good but why the tea? lol
ОтветитьThank you for giving purpose to my tea habit!!! Time to put 'em in the fridge... Hello from Puerto Rico!
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьYou said wasting our time😏😏🤪
Ответитьspray water and cover with plastic. When do you water again?
Ответить👍🏼
ОтветитьI can see you used seeds from packets. Can you use actual seeds from actual peppers?
Ответитьthank you! mine are about at the same stage as yours at the end of the video. at this point, do you recommend repotting?
ОтветитьI have bell pepper seeds growing in a closed container inside my house, I put them there today. I live in Texas and its over 100 degrees right now so should I keep them inside next to a window (I don't have a heat pad) or should I try letting them outside?
ОтветитьCan you use a green tea?
ОтветитьI tried to start a banana pepper plant using four different methods and nothing happened. This was the first method that actually worked. Thank you!
ОтветитьWaooo, I pray I get response to my question!
Please after sowing and cover the with plastic nylon, how long do I leave it without watering or must I open up the plastic and water daily or every other day before germination ?
Your response will be highly appreciated!
Tks for ur video, for how long will u refrigerate the seed?
ОтветитьSuper useful, we'll have to keep this in mind for next year. I started so many peppers that I gave up on because they did not sprout after a month. So then I did things like transplant extra tomato seedlings that sprouted into those pots and then of course the peppers started sprouting 2 months after I put them in the dirt.
ОтветитьGood luck separating them when you have a dozen in a cup.
Ответитьall the studies show lower germination with tea, its just old wifes tale, gardening has alot of those. should probably check the false info you spread before making a video about it
ОтветитьHow much light n temp
Ответитьill come back when it works. using warm water instead of tea
ОтветитьThanks for sharing😁✌️✌️🌹
ОтветитьHere's a blessing in disguise:
I had recently planted a bunch of pepper seeds (seperately, in an egg carton) and I had been waiting for them to germinate to no avail, as it was my first time sowing pepper seeds. Yesterday was my son's birthday party and one of the guests (a young kid) accidentally knocked over the carton and spilled everything. Although it may have seemed inconvenient to others, it led me to the curiosity of how I could better sow pepper seeds, and here I am. Thank you so much for this invaluable information!
Does the fridge then tea method work for tomato seeds as well?
ОтветитьFirst time I ever watched one of your videos and am very impressed! Love the humor with the water bottle! I always had trouble growing peppers this looks like it will work. Have gardened for 35 yrs. but there's always more to learn! Thanks for shortness of video with no blathering. Loved your video will be back for more videos and have subscribed.
❤❤❤
Seed germinate fine at 70 degrees without a mat. 7 days.
ОтветитьThanks for posting such a quick helpful video. Would this same method make sense for corn, okra, tomatoes and other heat loving plants? I didn't realise putting plants in the cold worked for heat loving plants I had only heard of cold stratification for perennials and native plants in cold climates.
ОтветитьI really want to try this now!
I'm super curious though, why tea as opposed to just warm water or something? I caught that you said it's to soften the shells, but what extra benefit does the tea add?
no
ОтветитьCan I put the seeds in the fridge for less time???
ОтветитьHi mine name is Susan Aikman.
I am planted my own peppers in containers😊😊
Why use tea and not just soak in water?
Ответить🎉thank you 🎉
Ответить8 days my ass!
ОтветитьI did almost everything like you said with some exceptions and all my seeds sprouted in like 2-4 days, what the????? All my cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, I'm only waiting for jalapeños to germinate
ОтветитьDo you think i could water down some cold coffee instead of using tea?
ОтветитьDid you cut holes in the bottom of your cups?
ОтветитьDid not think I would watch a gardening video on leave with a headache
ОтветитьI've been planting seedlings for 15 years and for the first time this year, I got zero germination from 3 peppers (Pasilla de Oaxaca, Marconi and Torno). My shishito, habanada and cherry peppers did great. I overwintered three plants (all doing find) and two tomato plants (ditto). The only difference was the brand of seed starter soil - could that be it?
ОтветитьSo I put my seeds in the freezer for 2 days😢 I watched your video and I thought I was "listening "😂 but when i saw you open the left side of the refrigerator I thought it was the freezer. I guess this will be a homeschool experiment 😊
ОтветитьDo u water them only once at the beginning?
Ответить
