Hi Clutch. A week without a break down is fantastic! 🫡🙏🏼
ОтветитьAny idea where or if you're gonna install your Ninja digital oven? I bought one when I saw you put it in your Coronado. I had it on top of my refrigerator until I bought the insignia that you have. I currently have it on the microwave shelf and the microwave strapped under the top bunk. I don't like that setup so looking for an idea
ОтветитьNext time, just go to a CB shop, Clutch.
ОтветитьCAT Scale is getting pricy but if you’re not able to install the app weigh system a CAT Scale ticket is cheaper than an overweight fine lol 😂
ОтветитьLoop d loop baby.
ОтветитьSome antennas need to be adjusted if the SWR is to high or to low. Maybe a CB shop could help too
ОтветитьGood job with the installs! You didn’t show us the waffle breakfast sandwich!
ОтветитьRusty sweet boy I have to agree with ya dad you are a meat ball dog 😂😂😂I seen fall right back on ya but when you getting your begging strip 😂😂😂 clutch you and Rusty enjoy being around those good ole southern folks in Georgia and if you are ever in Georgia and you see a old times buffet I recommend you try it YOU WILL GET GOOD SOUTHERN COOKING AT THAT PLACE I PROMISE YA!!!!
ОтветитьYou learn the hard way.😮😅
ОтветитьGetting it done! We were in your home area on Sunday. Took a run up to Laramie to watch UP's Big Boy steam into town, along with a thousand or so of our closest friends! LOL Decided to run over to Cheyenne before heading back to Denver. It was a bit on the warm side. Realized that my favorite western wear store is now just another Boot Barn. Dang! Safe travels and good loads! G&L
ОтветитьThat hole was the battery kill switch. All cascadia comes with
ОтветитьEverybody say. Re weigh. 20 times real fast.
Project farms. Did testing on diesel oils. Royal purple did pretty good for the price of it..
Over clocked electronics... rick.
Cb shop. Gary Indiana. Exit 6. Burr st. TA. TRUCK STOP.
HE'S my go to cb tec. . Since 2005. He knows his stuff. And down to earth on prices. 😊 Google comments for his page. All good. Not one bad one at all.
Next one hr vid. Waffle breakfast sandwich. 😊
ОтветитьThat’s not Garmin ELD interface
ОтветитьThe hole you ran your inverter cables through was original for a main power shut-off switch. That a common place for them in cascades.
ОтветитьGood use of the 34 brother. Nobody can say you don’t put in the effort. Now you just need a long run of good luck!
ОтветитьThink that hole was from a battery shutoff switch. I have one right next to the seat.
ОтветитьFlex seal tape just a suggestion to seal the hole for the inverter cables top and bottom of the hole
ОтветитьPLEASE, for goodness's sake, trim your finger nails.
ОтветитьI ran hotshot for a year and for the most part I loved it. However, if you think a 34 hour reset is a pain in a nicely appointed Cascadia, you should try one in an F-550…😊
ОтветитьQ; do you see any E-Semis on the road? I know you are a working truck driver and my guess is no. Stay safe bro.
ОтветитьYep, the SWR for your CB changes with the "chunk of metal" called the truck...need to find that small Allen wrench and adjust the short section of the antennas up or down to change the SWR. The "Striker" CB has a built in SWR meter? If not you can buy an SWR meter that goes in between the antenna(s) and the CB temporally for adjusting. Good luck!
ОтветитьSing that Bacon Song. 🎼🎶!!! Stay safe Mr Clutch and Rusty, 🙏😎
ОтветитьGreat to see you both CLUTCH
Definitely glad truck is running good, keeping at it, making it more like the ole Coronado 🥰
Hugs and cuddles to RUSTY ❤
Be safe out there! 👍👋
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️It took me nearly 6️⃣years through 4️⃣different FL Cascadias (& 2️⃣microwaves) to discover that perfectly placed strap hole because I never looked behind the passenger seat🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
ОтветитьCheck grounding on cb antennas first, could just need a good ground
ОтветитьAnother great video when i drove cat scale was 5 dollars free reweight
ОтветитьAdvice from an old retired trucker(71). Try moving the antennas higher for the CB.
ОтветитьAnd clogged arteries
Ответить+ Usually , before permanently installing anything ; components get all hooked up while the wires are still loose except the ends so you can try your connections while still can change positions say antennas higher or lower front or back to choose best location for everything ; then you start installing things accordingly while testing after every install leaving the wires for last ; A VERY IMPORTANT RULE WHEN INSTALLING THE WIRES ( ESPECIALLY THE COAX OR ANY VIDEO OR AUDIO WIRES ) IS NOT TO RUN COAX WIRE PARALLEL OR CLOSE ( 4” OR LESS ) TO POWER REGULAR WIRES ( especially higher voltage ), AND IF YOU HAVE TO CROSS THESE WIRES YOU DO IT ON A 90 DEGREE ANGEL TO MINIMIZE THE INTERFERENCE WITH THE SOUND ( OR VIDEO ) . THIS RULE APPLIES TO ALL APPLICATIONS ( vehicles , houses RVs ,………. ) . It’s best if you mount the wires using the surface mount moldings sold at your local grocery store , salary , q camper , bacon strip ……,!,! 😎
ОтветитьGround your brackets at the door
ОтветитьJust one one CB antenna I
ОтветитьTexas ranger works the best for the Cascadia
ОтветитьWe look forward to you delivering to us in Rothschild. On time and Rusty updates.
ОтветитьClutch Both of the base plates are the same the only difference is the studs are on the different sides . Cut the stud off and have it welded on the back side ( mirror image)
ОтветитьI'm no radio pro, but. I had problems and on others advice, I ran a ground wire to that aftermarket antenna bracket. Helped a lot.
ОтветитьHey clutch, I believe that circular hole by your driver seat is where the factory battery disconnect switch used to be. Looks like somebody must’ve removed it to the best of my knowledge all of the new Cascadia come with the battery disconnect switch so if you’re gonna leave your truck parked, more than three days you’re supposed to turn that switch off and it isolates the batteries and shut all power down so that it doesn’t kill your batteries overextended periods of parked
ОтветитьI am amateur radio operator, installed and tested several different antennas for High Frequencies. I found generally single CB antenna work better than dual phased antenna. cable assembly for dual antennas are often not made well. External Mirror mount adopter may not have enough Grounding to Truck chassis , if truck cab adopter is attached to is made out of fiber glass. in that case, need to run ground wire from antenna mount adopter to truck chassis. not having enough or proper ground causes high SWR.
ОтветитьWouldn’t it be cheaper to move your APU from your other truck onto your newer truck.
It just doesn’t seem to make sense to keep your truck on opti-idle overnight…. Idling your DEF truck will shorten the life of your emissions components. Besides, running your truck engine will be guzzling fuel overnight especially during those hot summer months
A lot of trucks do not have air suspension on steer axle, how does AppWeigh figure out the steer axle weight when the steer is spring suspension 🤷🏻♂️
ОтветитьDo you have the stryker cb hooked to stock wires in the truck? I am thinking of getting one from Amazon and do the cb conversion myself. What do think?
ОтветитьHell man, I`ll send you a brand-new knife. Just tell me where to send it.
ОтветитьHey, man I enjoy your videos and I always stay until the HAPPY DOG LOOK. Rusty is the best, what a sweet little guy. Let me know how to support you.
ОтветитьI will be glad, eventually, to know your idea of the best option for solving the antenna prob on a newer Cascadia (including the satellite option).
ОтветитьAt TA they have the Single Bolt Mount in the CB acc. section
ОтветитьDid you put a fuse on the positive line running to your inverter? Also the battery you hooked to will do all the work and die fast. I normally go positive to back battery and ground to front battery. That way all the battery's get an even draw.
ОтветитьI remember when reweighs were free. But it has gone up 4 bits every time over the past 25 yrs I have been driving.
They are the only ones that will go to bay for you if the state scale says you are overweight…if you produce a cat scale ticket the DOT officer will wave you on… because they can’t screw you over.
