That’s so fuckin discouraging…. Not what I needed to hear today lol
ОтветитьIt’s not the institution of marriage. It’s the participants who give up at the first sign of trouble. No commitment.
ОтветитьIsn't like this with us Indians. So rhe data is insane. Your people need to look into what's going wrong with your society.
ОтветитьI feel like a divorce attorney may have a negative view of marriage due to his chosen professional specialty. Plus, he assumes that another 10%-20% stay together for the kids but those people usually divorce after the kids move out so they are part of that 52%. I doubt many couples stay together because they don't want to lose half of their stuff. The truth is that 48% of couples stay married for life and that's not so bad.
ОтветитьAsinine. I have a large family. Right now 4 generations alive an thriving. I know I’m going to get hate, but the ones who waited till marriage, and literally lived by the Word, and so did their husbands have the best marriages. Also, having children later not as soon as they where married. Some did an they are all almost grown now. Others waited till late 20’s an 30’s. Another things I see in the married couples in my family is that all where financially educated at a young age. No debt other than their homes. Almost all of our grandkids have one stay home parent in the household. They are truly blessed. Teaching your kids to plan is so important from at least 13. At our Church they taught about finances every Wednesday to the youth.
ОтветитьIs he calling marriage a technology?
ОтветитьThat percent includes people who marry five, six, seven times artificially inflating that stat.
