How to Apply for Humanitarian Parole Program as an Immigrant to the US

So how do you apply for humanitarian parole if you are from Cuba, Venezuela, Haiti, or Nicaragua?

First, you'll need to file Form I-134A, which is a Declaration of Financial Support, and Declaration to be a Supporter.

This means that you will need a sponsor. This can be an individual or a non-profit, to give you two examples. Sponsors may join together to help support your application.

The Immigration Service will screen for previous immigration violations and will do a background check to see if you have any criminal violations.

If all goes well, the Immigration Service will approve your travel to the United States.
