I don't have the side chain bus option.

I'm trying to do this and for some reason any of the buses in my project won't let me change from Stereo Output to No Output. It won't let me click or make any changes in that area at all. Any ideas why this might be happening?

SO MANY CLICKS, IN ABLETON DROP COMP ON CHANNEL CHOOSE CHANNEL TRIGGER ( KICK) BAM DONE.

Just how it should be done short at to the point - far to many videos out there go of the point like say oh look at my cat and then start talking about there cat for another 5 mins before getting back to the subject the video was about - good job done 👍🏻

can you side chain the master channel of a song?

Why does bus need to be created? Shouldn’t it work if u side chain to kick track?

Excellent easy guide to Sidechain compression. Quick and to the point and I now understand it! I have done online courses which take four times as long and do not provide you a with a concrete example that shows what sidechaining actually does. Thank you!

Has something changed in Logic X? When I open that compressor there is no side chain drop down menu on the top right anymore

This is great, and as said before. Quick and to the point.
Question though. How do you achieve the side chain effect on the synth part, but you wish to remove the kick drum?
If I mute the kick, or lower it's volume, the side chaining effect goes away.
But I'd love to have that side chain effect on the synth without the kick being heard.
Suggestions?
Is there another video showing this?
