Bit like Obama pretending to be straight to become president 🧐
ОтветитьBlonde haired blue-green eyed Elizabeth Warren got into Harvard claiming to be Native American and now is in the US senate, And no one noticed 🤣
ОтветитьHmmm...the DEI is strong in this one.
ОтветитьSiyo negada from Oklahoma cwy born and raised in Tulsa ,living in Oklahoma we have a lot of natives that are assimilated wouldn't know real ceremony if it hit them in the face . If some one here in Tulsa claims to be native here they might be with all the tribes that were already here and that got removed
ОтветитьI sympathize with Jacqueline’s point but struggled to reconcile that with the fact that she’s gone in record saying she only considers people indigenous to the US and Canada as native American and has had people on her pretendians list who have real connections to American Indian cultures south of the border, but to her “Mexican Indian doesn’t count “as native American. That way of thinking is a fraud to me.
ОтветитьShes has no education native only means a person born in a country..
Thats all
Give a DNA test
ОтветитьThere is an entire community of pretendians gaining speed online calling themselves "moor-isrealites, American Aboriginals etc.
ОтветитьWannabes and Pretendians exists on a continuum. I have observed many wannabes create barriers, take funding, and fortify structures that oppress Indigenous people such as patriarchy.
ОтветитьSo SUPER ANNOYING is this Armenian continually interrupting Jacqueline answering and talking with the over-reacting comments and concerns after he asked the questions. She could have expanding more of her answering if he STOP INTERRUPTINGS.
ОтветитьI’m 40% Native American. I carry the Southern Athabaskan Haplogroup A2a4 (mtDNA). I have Mayan, Yaqui, Apache/Navajo, Ōpata and Taíno.
I had great grandparents that spoke Yaqui.
When going to court J Keeler has discovery and:
1) a documentation trail of claims of being Native American (interviews, papers, ...);
2) document trail showing the negative result, that is, a well founded basis for a conclusion of predendian - every ancestor traced to before their family "got off the boat."
3) a First Amendment shield.
I suspect the problem is much larger and more insidious than suggested. We only look at those that outwardly hold themselves out as Native Americans in their position. What about students and scholars that simply tick the box and then disappear into their departments in chemistry, engineering, law, sociology, or even Italian studies? They will never outed. As pointed out, self-identification alone doesn’t work and has proven harmful to those it is meant to help.
ОтветитьMy native american history class is using that book from roxanne and i noticed how political ideological it is and then i noticed another pretendian that my teacher was having us listen to which is buffy and im having to just appease the teacher even though shes pushing ideology i dont agree with.
ОтветитьThe reason academia believes fraud indians is because they are ignorantand really don't care. And any white guy can say he's a native shaman and make money. And nearly everyone I've met says they have a Cherokee great grand or grandmother. It's been insane.
ОтветитьYou gotta be atleast more than 40% native american and look native to be native american IMO.
Ответитьmore Boghossian propaganda. endless.
Ответитьdoes she keep calling him jimmy?
ОтветитьJust luv this lady and the great work she does
ОтветитьOur petition was accepted by the House of Commons. Google e-4982
Ответитьthe head of UW's Indian programs is a white guy married to an Indian, he doesn't even pretend. Total punk too, only has classes with girls or if they are male, they are someone connected to someone powerful, it's bullshit.
ОтветитьThe pretending is horrible, but let me ask this question: is it important for the universities that you are indian to teach about i dian history and culture? One could envisage that a pure white or black person could teach about idian matters just out of pure expertise.
ОтветитьI love how he is momentarily left speechless towards the end of Jackie's reply to his prompt "what would you like our listeners to know".
ОтветитьAlong with all Keeler has said, all true, isn't it also another form of paternalism? In other words, the view that Indians are kinda stupid and need white people to speak for them and teach them? And it's just another form of stealing from natives? Making up tribes and they're full of non Indians? It's also about getting money. Being a fraud for money is a HUGE issue. It's way bigger than even Keeler is saying. I know all this first hand
ОтветитьAnd thankyou for having Ms. Keeler on your program
ОтветитьAre they white or are they Jewish?
ОтветитьThe exact same phenomenon is rampant in Australia. It’s got really whacky, weird and farcical. Blonde haired, blue eyed opportunists who were born in private hospitals, went to private schools their whole lives who dress up in tailored clothes with Koori prints on them and market and commodify themselves as ‘Indigenous’ to exploit the gravy train of Government, corporate and academic funding and plum positions that have been reserved for the Indigenous and disadvantaged. They scream ‘racist’ at anyone who dares to say the emperor has no clothes and they get away with the fraud and corruption. It is truly obscene.
ОтветитьKeep up the good work. …for the love of money is the root of all evil…
ОтветитьNow you can start investigating the fraudulent so called climate scientists in academia and all the public funding they should return.
ОтветитьThis is one of the greatest Boghossian interviews. I rofled and lost my sh!t every 4-5 minutes.
ОтветитьI always knew my supervisor was cool (she's adopted from asian country). When I got a promotion she wanted to see proof of my Indigenous Peoples ancestry. I showed her my decendancy card❤. Thank you for this. Grandmother and 3rd generation veteran 🦅✊
ОтветитьHaving attended some very liberal universities, it is no leap to say this phenomenon is prevalent. It is a big problem. Dollars and continued colonization are behind it.
ОтветитьThe Buffy St. Marie fraud brought me here. Let’s not forget Elizabeth Warren either. In a similar fraud most recently foisted on the American public. You have the real Manchurian candidate Kamala Harris. Harris is the product/daughter of 2 well-to-do but ne’r-do-well black communist activists who just happened to surface in whatever country there was a coup forming. Homey Jamaican parentage was fabricated including the picture of the Harris’ housekeeper being portrayed as Kamala’s beloved aunt. Orthopedic records were scrubber along with childhood photos along with all history of her childhood and formative years of her origin story.
ОтветитьI grew up with a parent that fed me this lie. I believed them I guess because they were my parent. Like it was the ONLY ancestry they would talk about, even when I asked them what else we were. It took me waaay too long to realize I was being fed a delusion. Like late 20’s early 30’s.
I knew I didn’t look native and that seriously messed up my self esteem, because I looked like the “oppressor” side of my ancestry, unlike my parent. I tried so hard to try to look more like the “good” side of my family for years. I now get to have frequent skin cancer checks as a result. I still hate my complexion, to the point I try not to think about it.
So some people out there are probably like how I was, just regurgitating what they have been spoon fed since birth not realizing that to anyone who hasn’t been indoctrinated into what is almost like a “belief”, they sound absolutely ridiculous.
Even taking a DNA test didn’t get my parent to stop talking about it. Now they say “well lots of native Americans do not trust medical institutions given their history and so there is not as large a database for native DNA.”
My parent is also getting mad at me and starting to imply I might be racist because I never want to teach my own children about their native ancestry.
I genuinely believe it’s some sort of covert narcissistic delusion to maintain an aura of specialness, victimhood, and persecution that is embedded in their DNA.
I’m sorry for perpetuating it. My only defense is that I just genuinely believed my parent and just took what they said at face value. It wasn’t till I realized I look like every single person on the BBC and that none of my parent’s family members seemed to know what she was talking about that I finally realized this was just another crazy thing about my parent. It’s so humiliating to realize there’s comments forever online probably and people who remember me regurgitating this crap and walking away thinking i was one of these people.
Liz Warren.
ОтветитьWhen society rewards people for indigenous status, when it becomes a valuable commodity, we can expect an army of fraudsters to claim those rewards. Sherri Rollins knew the lie would give her an advantage in an election. Buffy St Marie has benefited from the lie all her adult life. Carrie Bourassa is another example. So is Joseph Boyden. The list goes on and on.
ОтветитьIt's worked for Elizabeth Warren.
ОтветитьWhite, liberal women love to wear the costume of an oppressed and romanticized culture. They think this gives them street cred and a pulpit to preach from. It's disgusting, and these impostors need to be exposed and punished.
ОтветитьWhy are my tax dollars (via the Canadian government) going towards making those reparations for crimes committed by the RCC?
The RCC has ruined my countries reputation on a global level but my money goes to reparations for those crimes?
Maybe it's because I'm Mètis that I think of Canada first, and contempt for the RCC and it's Jesuit order.
I know I know, I'm off topic and a year late, but there exists a connection when the topic of reparations is brought up..
White people have no culture
ОтветитьWe've got a woman at UNSW (Australia) who claims to be a member of the Winninni tribe (which doesn't exist, and never has). She told her indigenous students - she's the head of indigenous nursing - that she has a recoding on Pemulwuy giving a welcome to country to governor Arthur Phillip in 1788. Which is beyond ridiculous. Sound recordings were not invented until at least 1850... it was her own students who dobbed her in. She has no known indigenous ancestor and when this information came to light she threatened to sue... but when her bluff was called she faded. Her son btw is also on a student grant worth about 50k a year. She is a con. But for some reason ,the university protects her and they still roll her out for traditional 'business' and she waists everyones time with absurd inventions in zoom conferences where she basically just makes stuff up. She is an insult to the average persons intelligence, but mainly to the Aboriginal whose job she has taken and whose trust she has violated... as if colonisation wasn't bad enough. It makes me angry in a way that's hard to describe... it's stolen valour at it's worse.
ОтветитьRead James Adair and then ask yourself who is native and who is a racist!
ОтветитьI don't blame the pretendians. The problem is that there are opportunities available to people based on race. If you get rid of that, the pretendians will go away. I'm surprised PB wants to expose this instead of looking at the root of the problem which is DEI.
ОтветитьCome on Peter, this isn't any different than liberal democrats claiming to be fighting for oppressed minorities while claiming we need those same minorities to clean our toilets. And when you talk about fraud you have to talk about the entire education system and any DEI position that exists.
ОтветитьShe lost me with the land and capitalism BS
ОтветитьAcademia is full of phony people in general, whether or not they're pretendians. I know this from the trauma I dealt with in college!
Ответить“We just keep finding more white people” lol; very similar to plastic medicine men. 🤦🏻♀️
ОтветитьJust a suggestion. Letting your guest finish her sentences would be a nice touch. Wado, Jacqueline, for all you do.
ОтветитьPretendian you mean like black people pretending like their native to the Americas LMAO
Ответить
