Refs handed this series to Edmonton… pulling Oettinger was absurd too.

Gotta give credit to the oilers. I think they knocked off the poor plays, worked out the kinks, stopped trying to make too much from too little. They are just working with a lot of phenomenal talent. Dallas is just out matched. A lot of great teams in the playoffs this year.

How did the avalanche lose these Dallas bums?

How in the world do you pull your goalie who's been arguably the best goalie in the playoffs after 2 terrible defensive plays. Game should have been 2-2 after Dallas' 2nd goal.

A Good coach would go down with his starer and not panic and replace him with a backup goalie.
The issue with Dallas was not at the net . But in the defense. So disrespectful and just says to Ott that they don’t care about him. How do you move forward from that? Just 2 goals?

My favorite '80s band was DeSmiths.

Taking Oettinger out was WILD. You can tell DeSmith can’t keep up with where the puck is. And that’s what happens when you have no game time. That could go down as one of the worst coaching calls in playoff history, right next to Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, calling to pass the ball on the 1 yard line, instead of letting Marshawn Lynch run it in.

And all these depressed Dalass fans still live in Dallass. Thoughts and prayers.

The goalie swap meant absolutely nothing. Dallas was losing this game and this series. I’m not a fan of either team but even after Dallas won game 1 I knew Oilers were the better team and I had a feeling they would win. The Oilers were the superior team. They played textbook hockey and left Dallas looking completely basic and out of their league. Even when Dallas was full strength, the Oilers made it look like they were constantly on a power play the way they would move the puck and create so many openings. It wasn’t the Stars year. I live in the Dallas area, gonna have to be a here a lot longer before I might be a Stars fan but I’m not hating on the Stars, my team is the Isles and they’re atrocious. Would’ve been cool to see the Stars go further but anyone who thought Dallas was taking this series doesn’t know hockey very well.

Go home Dallas you suck, your team plays dirty, you dive like soccer and your coach is an idiot for pulling Otty then blaming him 😅🎉
