Fascinating. The only thing I would ask Jan is about breathing for competition. Is it similar to how breath is controlled when you shoot?

How are you doing today Adam

I love the idea of adding slingshot to my workout.
I have walking paths on my property, I have places along the paths for working out. So far there's stretching hula hooping, sword practice, skipping rope, eventually perhaps add all the following air soft shooting, knife throwing, balance beams, rock hopping, horseshoes and slingshots.
Giving my body different things to do keeps it interesting.

It's not a bad combination since the slingshot is on the opposite side of your dominant hand. You have to follow up with the slingshot, but if in case you need to protect yourself so Tactically it makes sense to engage with the knife and follow up with the slingshot if the perp is trying to use the knife back against you.

I like slingshots. I don't care for the bands I prefer the tube kind with a wrist brace. the last banded one I had snapped and hit my eye so I'm apprehensive about them now. I'm surprised you went with the half spin with him and not the no spin. personally, I'm all for no spin, it's so much better at least for me.

Trick shot idea; Adam starts a nail into a target then pounds it in by throwing a hammer at it! This used to be a trick shot done with .45 ACP but I think it would be cooler to throw a hammer!

The most interesting part to me is that his aiming and finger release techniques are very similar to that of Japanese archery. Very informative and enlightening.
