I guess you can edit events of non native Plugins if you browse the Plugin parameter and just click to edit events in piano roll.

This option works with 3rd party plugins. NOT just native plugins. I know, because I just did it.

All you need to do is record notes and automation, then adjust it, and it'll appear in the events. (Also what that person said below about browsing plugin parameters)

You can use this technique with ANY plugin, just twist the knob you want to automate, then on the top left of the UI, go to "Tools" > "Last Tweaked" and it'll show the option to Edit Events
