Adalaj Stepwell is one of the largest stepwell in Gujarat. It is also known as Rudadevi Vav. It is located in Adalaj (Gandhinagar). The stepwell or vav is a 5 storied structure and the architecture has an Indo-Islamic fusion influence. It is built in such a way that the inside temperature remains cooler and hence a very good place to take a break for passing travelers.
