Sounds like this meet is going to be fire. Some of our best will be on display, and I'm up for it. I'm interested in every race you mentioned, but the women's 400 is my main focus. When Sydney figures gets the race strategy figured out, she is going to be dangerous. I also agree with you concerning Gabby..........it would be foolish to sleep on her 400 potential. I look forward to your post meet commentary. In the meantime, thanks for all you do in keeping our sport alive.
ОтветитьWomen's 100mH is a mini preview of USAs with a 2-way battle between Keni & Laylay looking the most likely.
Men's 110mH is basically USAs w/o Grant! Looking like a 4-way race between Allen, Dunning, Britt & Roberts, wish Cordell Tinch was running in this race.
Can Aleia Hobbs finally run sub 10.8? And can Gabby run sub 11/50s an hr apart?!
Could we get a sub 10s from Laird & Norman (maybe a sub 20s later on)? Shame about Fred pulling out of the 200m against Noah esp as they're unlikely to race each other @US Trials :(
How close will Brittany Brown in her opener (who I've had an eye on all season) get to Abby & Jenna in the 200m?
Who will come out on top in the HS 200m race between the 3 big prospects; Adaejah Hodge, Mia Brahe-Pedersen & Shawnti Jackson?
WIll Athing better Keely's 1.55.77 WL in her 800m opener? Not currently on the startlist though!
Can new NCAA 800m Champ & Freshman Will Sumner hold his own against the Pros like Clayton Murphy, Bryce Hoppel, Brandon Miller & Isaiah Harris?
Can at least 3 from Syd, Gabby, Lynna & Charokee run sub 50s in the W400m?
Can Maggie Ewen with PBs in the Shot Put & Hammer this year do the double against Chase Ealey (Shot Put) & DeAnna Price (Hammer) on the same day? Can Vashti jump a WL in the HJ?
Nice preview, looking forward to the meet! One thing though, the article that announced Athing Mu also said that Michael Norman and Kenny Bednarek pulled out.
ОтветитьI hope the weather holds up😢
ОтветитьU my friend are exactly what the sport needs💯. Keep it up🤌💥
ОтветитьI really just want to wish for you a fantastic occasion at the Icahn Stadium on Saturday in NY. Thank you for helping me to be more and more interested and aware of everyone in this season's women's 400m. I really hope Gabby and Sydney can both push each other and measure the pace in the openning 200m which helps to give us all something to talk about, and something for them both to work with going onto USATF. And a truly great race for you trackside.
Over here in Europe, it is as if I am not so far away (from my home track), like in New Jersey, but with something a bit more like NCAAs. You see, we have the European Team Comp at the Stadium Silesia with Division 1 on Friday, Saturday snd Sunday. And one of the 400m runners is going up to beat a worrld record. Do you know who, and what it is? I really hope all the leading girls in the 400m dash post personal best and one a worthy world leading time. And over here, may the best team win.
New subscriber here. Looking forward to checking out some of your previous drops. We are so blessed to have women like Sydney and Gabby in the sport! They are both amazing.
ОтветитьYou forgot the battle between athing mu and ajee Wilson
ОтветитьGood Ole Icahn Stadium! The place where Usain Bolt ran his first 100 meter world record. 🏃♂️💨💨💨👀
ОтветитьWith Gabby in the 400 it will depend on whether or not she’s ‘training’ or ‘racing’. The 100 is also before the 400 so that may affect her race as well
ОтветитьGreat analysis and "heads up" regarding surprising appearances. I see Laird being a serious contender at the USATF and he could surprise here, I'm delighted to see Boling here in the 400...many of us have felt his future is in the 4. Would have loved to have seen high schoolers Jackson and Asinga here but hopefully they will be at the Trials. Thanks for a great presentation.
ОтветитьJESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU SO MUCH HE DIED FOR YOU REPENT TODAY !!!!!!
ОтветитьI want to see Sha'Carri on the tracks... She is the only one bringing excitment...
ОтветитьWell, I voted whom is going to come out the block first, accelerate the speed and maintain the maximum strength and speed towards the finished line first, second and third, but sometimes, one has to expect the unexpected too: we have top international sprinters vs American sprinters in each category that you have shown, and you also have collegiate sprinters vs professional sprinters or turning professional sprinters... You started with Sydney vs Gabby in which I expected a close race because of the previous win of the 200m for Gabby, but how she is going to start, do well on the turn to come towards the finished line would determine if she would win, but Sydney has Kersie as coach and his judgement is paramount for his team ( Paradini, Harrison, Mo, and Sydney), but back to Sydney, I think 🤔 that Sydney has an edge on Gabby if Sydney fixed up the 200m portion of the 400m because she ran out of real state towards that last portion and that is how Paulino caught up with Sydney and that also can be Gabby, but sometimes, Gabby can be inconsistent like she was in Los Angeles CA and Paladini won instead, if Gabby is on and her confidence is through the roof, she is unbelievable and unbeatable but there is also raw talent too, and you can't unfortunately count the Jamaican sprinter out either so it's going to be an exuberant performance in the 400m: now, the 200m race, well, I am going to enjoy this one too, Abby Steiner was second behind Gabby even though Paladini won in Los Angeles but I forgot her time and her coach would clean it up to match American Best, but again you have raw talent and it's going to be closed with the Jamaican sprinter because you can't count her out because of what she said at her interview, but look for Mo!!! She is doing something new too as Sydney as well as Norman for the men. Here is my pick: American (Sydney), American ( Gabby) and third place is going to be a photo finished but I prefer an American for a sweep: 100m Shari Carrie Richardson, winner American, Alex Hobbs ( second) American and again I prefer an American but I believe that it's going to be a photo finished: 800m Wow, I honestly can't predict a winner because it's going to be a photo finished of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the women and men respectually not in less a sprinter does something insane instead to get to Worlds like I saw an eighth grade ran insanely named Aria Periece, and the 400m for men, there are only two or three Americans with the International sprinters of Jamaica and Britain, but I still prefer American to medal but it's going to be photo finished as well for 2nd and 3rd: 100m for men, I prefer an American sweep but I can't count the Jamaican sprinters out: it can't be false start and the turn for acceleration and maximizing that speed to the finished line performance would definitely determine the winner: Coleman, Lyles, Blake for a photo finished!!! Now, the hurdlers for the women, Harrison was second behind Quinn and third place was the Jamaican hurdler Topper, and my pick is American hurdler Harrison, and another American whom medalled recently with one of the Jamaican hurdler; and for the men hurdlers, I expect an American sweep!!! I would be glued to the tube cheering 📣 for USA all the way!!!
ОтветитьI seem to remember watching in the United Kingdom, i think it was this meeting the men high jump maybe 1 or maybe 2 jumping for a world record 2.46m . Now in 2023 men height jump is hardly mentioned or shown as much.on the diamond league , or world tour
ОтветитьNot sure why Laird was moved to the 100m considering the 200m is his clear favourite. Wonder why Boling pulled out? Perhaps to save himself for nationals? Kerley and Lyles are denying us that vs in both the 100m and 200m. So, we aren’t seeing them against each other in either events til Worlds 😒
ОтветитьGreat commentary!
ОтветитьIs Kerley okay? Why did he pull out
Ответитьgreat video! i know everyone to look out for now!
ОтветитьThis men’s 100m will let Michael Norman know if he should defend his 400m title instead of winning the 100
ОтветитьDidn't mention Athing Mu !
ОтветитьDude you ATE this! Sports center, hire this man 💪🏿 💪🏿
Ответить• W400M - Gabby V. Sydney in the 400M? AWESOME!
• KENDALL ELLIS! A USC legend who finished 4th at the 2021 US Olympic trials.
• TERRENCE LAIRD - glad to see he's 's back!
• W200M talent INSANE!
• ANNA COCKRELL – My track Crush (don’t tell my wife!)
• FANTASTIC VIDEO!
Shacarri not participating?
ОтветитьEd NASER for my money 💰
ОтветитьI’m looking forward to Laird & Gabby/McLaughlin races
ОтветитьYou said Lyles already ran 21.6 at the Kingston meet Racers Grand Prix 😅😂
It's all good bruh.Just funny
Good video tho
This man is chilled, fair, and not controversial. He always gives a balanced opinion!
ОтветитьGabby Thomas is great, but I still think Sydney will win this. I Believe Sydney can run around 48.6 if the conditions are good.
ОтветитьCrushed it as always - fantastic!
ОтветитьCould Gabby beat Allyson’s single day 100/400 double record (10.93/49.83)🫢
ОтветитьThanks for the update,Keep it coming and good analyzing the athletes on point
ОтветитьYou give us the best breakdown of events and profiles of athletes cheers and well-done 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 i so badly want to see Laird do exceptional things this year
ОтветитьGreat to see the complete set of men's sprint events, including the hurdles. Will there be high jump, long jump, and triple jump as well?
ОтветитьIf you want to challenge Sydney to win 400m race why Gabby does a 100m race just before that? Crazy it means Sydney will win because Gabby's energy is less after that 100m. Or she is hired to be pacemaker for Sydney first part of 400m. Otherwise makes no sense!
ОтветитьNorman scratched out of the meet
ОтветитьNo 800m yikes
ОтветитьSydney 48'8 and Gabby 49.4. Lyles for sure in the 200 and Knighton pretty close. Sumner for the 800.
ОтветитьNot gonna be fast times it's gonna rain all day
ОтветитьPaulino 49.12s and Sydney 49.71s check facts. Thats 59s difference. Paulinos best is 48.98s thats this year.
ОтветитьPrandini switch trainers. I see improvement.
Any predictions and assessments about the women's 800m.
I am a new subscriber.
Good job!
Thanks à lot
I scared by wind in this naked stadium 😓
