My family doesnt like onions or mushrooms so i substituted it with carrots like how my Chinese restaurant does it. The vegetables are flavourful. More flavorful than the chicken kind of. Sauce is a little too thin and watery rather than thick. Regardless it still makes a good meal. I give it a 7.5/8

ОтветитьYour pan size is very deceiving, my mushrooms & broccoli do not fit & I have a big pan! If I make again need to cook everything separately.

ОтветитьSo the sauce was very liquidy. When I was cooking the chicken it threw off a lot of juice. Should I have emptied the pan of juice and then put the sauce? Not sure if there was any reason why it didn’t thicken…

ОтветитьSee I blanch the broccoli for about 3-4 minutes, ice bath, perfect for quick cooks or sheet pan recipes.

ОтветитьI do a lot of cooking and the thing that gives me problems is cooking rice. Mine ALWAYS sticks to the pan for some reason. I've tried rinsing the rice under cold water, adding a little bit of butter or adding a little bit of olive oil and nothing has worked. I cook my rice for exactly 8 min under a low flame and it's done. Why a lot of it sticks to the pan when I'm serving it is beyond me.
