Ответитьfinaly a video that give's a good basic on architecture and color
ОтветитьProfessional, well thought through, informative...Thank you!
ОтветитьI was looking for you.
ОтветитьI am a second year architect student and these videos really help me elevate my designs. I have a fair amount of knowledge about color, design, structure, light etc but you touch on a lot of points that i hadn't really thought about as much. Thank you! keep it up!
ОтветитьYOU ROCK!!! Great
ОтветитьThank you so much for all you share Eric. I've really enjoyed your book too. As a student of Architecture, your work has been really helpful.
ОтветитьThe great source of informations...I like your videos before I see them....such a great job 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Ответитьif u noticed, the background music kinda reflects his Arch subconsciousness
ОтветитьThank you for the awesome video. I wish the jump cuts didn’t exist. It seems like you’re speaking with no breaks for taking a breath.
ОтветитьGreat content, alot to follow.
Although, with my education, I was able too do so 😊
Side note: the Hard Cuts in video editing made it difficult to follow visually and verbally. Even though you made complete sense.
Just SUBSCRIBED, looking forward to seeing your other content.
Ps: perhaps you could interject how ethnic groups use different color palettes. As in this video, Scandinavian, Swiss even Bohemian styles can fit this narrative.
nice editing work
ОтветитьFabulous video. Thank you.
ОтветитьPlease, make this video with spanish subtitles
ОтветитьThere are so many cuts in the audio its getting harder to concentrate on the content !!
ОтветитьGreat video as always! Could you tell me which font you are using in your videos? thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so this great video and channel. I would like to know where is it possible to get a sample kit for colours like yours? I checked in supplier website that it doesn't come as an option. Thanks
ОтветитьWould you recommend any app that can give you a color scheme from a picture?
Ответитьomg where was this channel all this time. you are so knowledgeable! so cool to have stumbled on this.
ОтветитьA lot of good information here, but the jumpy editing, even mid-sentence, is kind of distracting. Please edit your vids a bit less than this?
ОтветитьI'm so tired of neutrals. I want rich lush colour, not twenty shades of drab!
ОтветитьThis is such a well-made video and an awesome channel. I'm very interested in architecture and I'm basically just watching all the 30x40 videos to learn more. The amount of useful information crammed into these videos is fantastic.
ОтветитьThe color of his eyes.......
ОтветитьLove this 👏🏽👏🏽
ОтветитьThank you for your videos they have been helping me along the way for my schooling! They are a welcomed break from school while still getting knowledge pertaining to school. I was wondering where you got those color binders from ? Or if you could do an updated what you use for design processes
ОтветитьI enjoy your videos , must take a lot of time to create -re: color I agree with most of your premises on light ,color, and color theory however (being an interior designer with 40 years of practice) I do feel you as most of the architects I collaborate with over the years, have a very different approach to color that short changes it's potential contribution to interior spaces , and it's potential psycho therapeutic contributions to it's inhabitants and the interior space's ambiance . Honesty in materials is important , but so is the human element ( those who inhabit the space) perhaps since they (architect) are focused on creating the building / exterior materials juncture they feel reticent to deviate when addressing the interior 's color . Modern architecture, because of it's premises/ underpinnings, tends to overly organically influence this decision .I find it Interesting looking at how differently these two design disciplines approach this subject. Keeping a balanced approach is at the root of good design. Just as an landscape architect can be worth his weight in gold to a project.
ОтветитьYou inspire me to do my work better :) thank you for your knowledge sharing...
ОтветитьSuggestion: put some pauses between your sentences.
ОтветитьExtraordinary Content! Thank you.
ОтветитьLove it! I am doing an essay on the impact of the coloured light on my client and how they feel in the space. Very useful, thank you 😊
ОтветитьSubtitulos en "Español" ¡Por Favor! 🙏
Ответитьj'adore votre chaine. bravo.
ОтветитьMy architecture class teacher made me watch it in class. I loved it!
Your videos used in college, something to be proud of.
Colour selection still seems pretty random to me. When people use colour wheels, it's still seems random to me. They're saying it's complimentary. It look pretty random. It might be the tritanomaly but I see most of the same colours other people see.
ОтветитьSo when do you start your online school Architecture in Life
Enjoy your videos

I've been struggling with finding videos that take interior design seriously. This is an amazing resource.
ОтветитьYou play drums too ?
ОтветитьWhat app did you use here to extract the colours?
Ответить👍 smashed ✨🙌✨🙏💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ОтветитьCiao from Siena, thanks for the content
ОтветитьOne thing that's never touched on in discussions of color is how the people who will live there look against the color palette. I have an olive complexion, and while I might want to use color to physically or emotionally warm up a room (especially here in Wyoming) the reality is that my skin tone against warm colors make me look ill. Against a cool gray I look rosy and healthy, so I stick with cool main colors and use warmer colors sparingly to accent.
ОтветитьWhat is that brown color on the wall there in your office
Ответитьbeeing close to finishing my university carrier in architecture your whole channel should be basic requirement in the first semester. So many people would have higher standards ...
ОтветитьGreat video!!! It’s like a crash course in color. Thanks Arch. Eric for keeping us motivated in our endeavor to be creative environmental design-creators!
ОтветитьRevisiting these years later, I'm still blown away by how much education and insight you offer the viewer.
That said, now that you have the mechanics of the format mastered, maybe follow up with more editions of these style guides?
Thank you, as ever, for this gift to the world of design.
I love the drum set in the studio!
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the architect he refers to? George what? Is there a link maybe, of that project?
Regards
Insanely good! Thanks!
