One should combine Keen's wonderful analyais with Robert U. Ayres (physical economics, thermodynamics) , Charles Hall (EROEI), Jing Chen (thernodynamical foundations of economics), Eugene Stanley (physical basics of foraging, natural systems economics).
The neo-classical school is very much bad model (not theory), with unfounded/provenly wrong premises and bad predictions/guidance.

failed to show how energy is essential to domain of economics (social science), from any other commodity. completely ignores the ontological considerations that has been raised. last thing economic theory needs is "climate change" science
